I wish he would have showed a replay of that hurdle that looked like a kick.

The Coach's Challenge = failure. If the replay shows it was a catch -- definitively, but the rule is it was out of bounds, the system is broken and needs to be fixed. Why have a challenge if it's just up to the AI to decide??

Re: Madden NFL 12.

Bought this game, didn't enjoy it much so I traded it in to amazon as they were offering a $40 gift card. I come to find out today that my trade in was rejecting because it was missing a manual. Funny thing is that the game doesn't come with an actual manual and obviously whoever checks these games in hasn't bought an ea game in awhile. I'm not happy

Re: Madden NFL 12.

I would complain to Amazon, they will probably credit you if you tell them. Their return people are retarded. It's a third party, and it's happened to me before.

For example, I traded in my old 3rd Gen 32gb iPod Touch, and they considered it in fair condition because I didn't have the little Apple sticker that came with it. Seriously. A $30 drop off for a sticker.

Anyhow, I bought Madden as well. Played it for an hour and I am not happy at all. It's very slow and sluggish. I input a menu selection, and 20 seconds later it takes effect. I thought the game froze several times.

Passing is atrocious. Defense is a joke. It was nice to not be bombarded by Old Spice ads, though.

Anyhow I am returning this.

Re: Madden NFL 12.

I forgot about that issue I have had with Madden. Why is there always such lag in the menu system?

I know it's beating a dead horse, but how does NFL2K5 still run better than this thing?

They claim Madden 12 has a great presentation. It's still crappy.

Re: Madden NFL 12.

This is the buggiest fucking game I've ever played.

I had a franchise with the Falcons, but the menu would not advance past the fourth game vs the Seahawks. After the game I just could not advance to the next week. I even tried to advance to the end of the season after a restart & it went directly back to the Seattle game. Had to restart the damn franchise.

First game of a new franchise & the game freezes on the game summary screen afterwards.

Unforgivable.

Are you guys playing this online or something? Online's for losers.

I'm not having any lag. PS3 version.

The lag is in the menu system (not online).

Even trying to switch my teams uniforms before the game takes forever.

Yeah, there's tons of delays in the menus for me on the 360.

Sorry to bump this for an older game, but I was playing online for the first time and had a problem - I kicked off and the other guy fielded it on the 5 yard line, then turned and ran into the endzone. Safety, right? Nope - it gave him a touchback. He did this the entire game. Is this just another in the series of problems with Madden 12?

Nope, it's another new rule Goodell passed so there is less tackling / injuries in football
