Updated the stats ranking in Post #2 to reflect all the movement in the group's rank changes. I love how I went up five ranks since we set up the post and I didn't move up or down at all!

re: Battlefield Talk

So my brother is likely visiting me for the weekend. Is it possible for him and I to both play BFBC2 on my PS3 on Friday night? If so, what do we need to set that up?

If it's a no-go for both of us to play BFBC2 on my PS3 at the same time, what about Warhawk?

If neither option works, he and I might switch in and out under my username so he can try the game a little bit.

No on BC2. But considering my average life is about a minute and a half, it would make a decent pass the controller game.

On Warhawk, you can play 4-player splitscreen and still play online.

re: Battlefield Talk

Another night with Vong, Ktown, Ogsoley, Spatula and Murray.

We got rolled pretty bad those last couple of games. The point I was trying to make on the snow map was that we'd be more successful at keeping them off balance if we moved from point to point as a group of 4 rather than trying to defend the one position we were holding while they all converged on it. We'd also rack up a ton more points.

I was flu-like last night. So there was no wookie for me.

Went to bed and watched the 'Nucks beat the Wangs.

re: Battlefield Talk

Fun times tonight, even if we lost Rush.

My brother is visiting this weekend so he and I may be on in the wee hours of Friday night, say after 11:00pm CST or so. He's never played before and he and I might swap out my controller here and there. You'll trade a noob for a total noob every few minutes. Thanks in advance to our patience squadmates. I also picked up an extra controller so we might do a little late-night Warhawk this weekend, too.

Fun times tonight. We were in a really great game at the end, and I lost my connection...decided to just get ready for bed.

re: Battlefield Talk

Yes nice game. That team we beat twice had some good players and they outnumbered us. Next kill after your connection dropped, we won the round. Crazy. Anyway Ktown and I also had to go to bed so hopefully ill catch a few of you on tomorrow.

re: Battlefield Talk

Yeah...I also had the high score when I dropped.

Highlight of the night was killing two douchebags hiding in an attic...one by taking down the building and the other by stabbing after he jumped out of the building as it fell. It was extra epic because it was the last kill of the map, and the guy I stabbed had been making us pretty miserable.

Edit...dude's' name was something like reggaesunni

re: Battlefield Talk

Also, thanks to DieCast and Chess for complimenting my improved playing. It's cool to know my efforts are going noticed.

Hit Level 13 tonight and it felt great!

re: Battlefield Talk

Seen you guys on the other squad and tried to join but it said it was full. Still it was fun actually playing with blueberries that knew what they were doing. LOL!! I was Gustaving enemies during and entire game and killed 10 just by doing that. Douchy, yes, but very satisfying.

re: Battlefield Talk

Well, we're nearly halfway to filling up a server. Can we get another twelve guys or so and fill it up?

Good times tonight. Ended up on the other team at the beginning and chess nabbed my dogtags. Then my brother took over the controller, and in his first five minutes ever playing, sliced him up in return and nabbed his dogtags! Thanks to all my squadmates who were patient with him as a new squadmember. He said it was a lot of fun and appreciated the camaraderie.

re: Battlefield Talk

After you guys left I ended up playing with the other guys I met playing BC2 and scored a quadruple kill. I gustaved a cav full of enemies and racked up some huge points for it. LOL! Anyway it put me over the top and I ended up getting my first Conquest Ace Pin!

Fun times tonight for sure and I discovered my new love....40mm Shotgun Attachment!

re: Battlefield Talk

Yep. Good times last night.

I'm sure I'll forget somebody because of squad limitations but I remember:

Diecast
Gonzo
Shumway
Spatula
Vong
Murray
Dingwog
OG
Frizby

Highlights of my night:

- Carl Gustaving a pretty good pilot in an attack chopper on Heavy Metal...the beginning of an EPIC comeback win by under 10 points.

- Discovering that the Saw is a pretty effective long range weapon.

- Mowing down 3 or more guys on at least 3 occassions.

We've gotten to an odd point where we are coordinated enough to dominate teams at our skill level, and we usually chase them off.

re: Battlefield Talk

We also had ogsoley and yawmush playing and Eggo joined up right at the end after most everyone left.

My highlights:

- Snagging a Level 50 guy's dogtags three times in one round.

- Moving up to Level 14 after a round of defibbing, health packing, and killing.

- Mowing down enemy after enemy who came upstairs looking for trouble, then defibbing my teammates who didn't make it through their rush upstairs to flush us out. I earned a Light Machine Gun Efficiency Pin in the middle of that little spree that round, too. Man, I took down a ton of enemies in that one moment; it was like hunting on the Oregon Trail.

That was you and me in that kill room. I don't remember either of us going down, but I know both of our health packs had to have been rocking a ton of points. Just dudes spawning on dudes spawning on dudes and us just lighting muthafuckas up!

I'll probably be on again tonight after my daughter goes to bed. The wife is having a girl's night for a friend's birthday.

Played for maybe 5 minutes today...just long enough to yoink Vong's dogtags.

I think Chew said it best when he said "Num! Num! Num! Num! Num!"

re: Battlefield Talk

Jumped on with OG for a bit yesterday as well. We were on a super focused team just rolling from point to point and designating targets. Awesome when there are 6-7 people with you every time you converge on a flag.

Might hop on for a bit this morning.
