According to USPS tracking, my Vita should arrive tomorrow. Pretty good considering that I was very suspicious of that site.

re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread

Best Buy removed preorders from their B2G1F deal (though they still show up on the page), which saved me some money considering I was debating getting even more launch titles because of the sale.

While I like Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom and I'm impressed that they got it on there, I'm not exactly sure why I bought it on Vita... the control scheme is not the easiest to translate to a portable, especially when you consider the money I spent on arcade sticks for my console. I would think the same goes for BlazBlue and other fighters...

I am impressed with the hardware, though the only two games I've opened so far, Wipeout and UMvC, don't use any of the new control schemes or the dual stick. I still think the software is clunky. And I can't imagine the disappointment if someone bought this without a memory card. The one other gripe I have is the game card slot... that seems like something that will break off eventually, and while that kind of slot is fine for things like memory cards that will be replaced sparingly, I don't think it's a great idea for something that is used frequently.

Did you ever play the original Tales from Space: About a Blob? I was wondering how Mutant Blob Attack compared. The videos I watched reminded me more of Super Meat Boy than About a Blob, but maybe that was just the videos I seen.

My Vita shipped from Butt Plug-O-Rama as well.
Things are taking about 5-6 days to get to me after they ship though.
Did you track it? My tracking number shows expected delivery tomorrow.

Did not play the original (or Super Meat Boy). IGN said that the newer one is faster paced though, but sorry, I can't compare the two.

I'm having shipping nightmares from these orders and don't know when/if I'll get my stuff. Not their fault, mine -- I put the wrong Zip in the address and it's caused a whole mess of trouble.

Work address, home Zip. I can't be the first person in history to make that typo, can I? Unfortunate once they had that wrong address, it went and populated all my orders. Anyway, it's a real cluster-fuck and will put me way behind as all my stuff travels coast-to-coast, gets marked "Undeliverable" and gets sent back and refunded. I think I'd just like to buy a Wifi from Amazon now, but can't until I'm sure the Butt Plug one doesn't actually find its way to my work.
It's pretty depressing, actually.

I did this with an international order once. After sitting in customs for a week, it got shipped right back, and I had to reship it for like 80 bucks. This was after they had delivered it fine a couple times in the past on smaller orders, which is why I never noticed the problem before. Good luck!

I would hope he mainly circumcises infants. And even then only males.

My butt plug is being shipped to GA, so I won't be able to get it until early March when my brother comes to visit. So in the meantime, I just got a 3G Launch Bundle in a beat up box from Amazon Warehouse Deals for (drumroll) $179.99 and it'll be here Monday!

I think I'm going to pick a Vita up tomorrow. I'm probably getting Uncharted and Ninja Gaiden but am undecided on a third game. Suggestions anyone? I'm sort of leaning towards Marvel vs. Capcom as I do enjoy fighters from time to time but not completely sure.

Has anybody tried putting on the Sony branded screen protector? If so, does it look good when put on? Is it easy to get on without bubbles?

It's a standard protector, covering only the screen, but coming with a template to help you position it right. You still have to get rid of all the dust and do it in a damp room, etc., to get it on right, but it was no harder than any other screen protector I've put on. They come in a two pack, and they're 11 bucks at TRU, which is perfectly paired with the 39.99 Uncharted to get the $20 gift card (which comes with any $50 Vita purchase).

I spent half an hour playing with backgrounds yesterday...

Thanks Decker.

This guy looks like he just rolled outta bed. Shower and clean up before you put a video of yourself on the internet.

Decker is still Vitaless.

But on a positive front, all my other misaddressed items from Butt Plug (Uncharted, Ultimate MvC3, Travel pouch) arrived today at work with the Zip corrected. to the U.S. Postal Service! Now watch them screw up the Vita...

USPS says my Vita is out for delivery. Hurry up, postman!

Edit: It has arrived! How much lube should I use to put it up my butt?

Are you into sports games or soccer at all? If so, FIFA is really good. If not, as already mentioned, Lumines is a great puzzle game.

Enough to fill that Golden Abyss!

So can someone here who knows tell me how this version of Lumines differs significantly from the five other versions I currently own?

re: Official PS Vita / PlayStation TV Thread

The screen on this is gorgeous. I loaded Netflix onto it and it looks great. I never understood people who watched movies on their cell phones, but I could imagine watching TV shows on this.

Maybe I'm thick, but how do I manage the data on the memory card?
