Austin has to be in there. He still has strong ties with the WWE, so I don't see any issue there. He probably just didn't make the box cover. And for those questioning Kofi, I'm with ya, but it's probably a demographics thing to be honest. A way to draw in certain fans, that's all.

Does anyone know what free stuff different stores are offering if you pre-order the game?
Also it looks like they are going to release a toy line based on this game. So far the only one i've seen has been a Randy Savage vs. John Morrison 2-pack.

The hit collision is terrible based on those videos. I'm getting sick and tired of these DLC exclusives too. Count me out of this game.

I'll add this to my collection, but not until it's $30 or lower.

I think Microsoft will set records with the DLC...
...specifically, the Chris Masters character will be the least downloaded piece of content from any game ever.

The demo is now out for the 360. Later on today for the PS3.

Funny how everyone looks all 'roided out. The demo was pretty fun, but it only lets you play as Rey Jr or Ultimate Warrior. Those are probably the two people I least wanted to play.
Great to see Eddie. Too bad we'll never get Benoit. Brock Lesnar would have been pretty cool too. Kinda disappointed there's no chicks. Would have loved to see classic Sunny, Trish, Lita and Keibler. Even if they were just valets.

Anyone getting this game Tuesday? played the demo and had a blast...at first i got my ass kicked by Warrior but started getting hang of the controls and timing of the reversals and now having a great time with it, can't wait to play the full game and trying out the other wrestlers.

I watched a guy play this at best buy for a few seconds today. Looked like a blast. Total NBA Jam feel to it. I'll be getting it along with Tiger golf. Playing a serene round at Augusta National and then running around as The Ultimate Warrior is gonna be sweet.

Well I bit on this, and it's about what I expected. Few options, few modes, a very limited CAW mode where you can make wrestlers that look different, but you're stuck with the movesets and finishers of the 30 characters in the game.
The game itself is more challenging than you might expect, especially the Path Of Champions matches. But really, it ends up feeling like a reheated Legends Of WrestleMania, pumped up with steroids. The matches are more entertaining, and fare much better than the QTE based Legends did. But it just doesn't feel like a full game.
That being said, other than the online trophies, it's a pretty easy platinum.

So, other than the path of champions mode, is there any type of career mode?
I was hoping to be able to either use a wrestler or create my own and sort of go through a career. Ya know...start out in local arenas earning 50 bucks a night, then get called up to the WWE but start out as a jobber and get whooped by the big guys, then sort of make a name for yourself and start being a part of very minor storylines and finally become big enough to develop major feuds and be in title matches and whatnot.
Or, you could use a real wrestler and have a SLIGHTLY different path for each one.
From what I can tell, you go through the 10 match path of champions, beat the Undertaker, Orton or D-X in tag team and that's it. Unless I'm missing something that's pretty damn lame.
Hell, I played a wrestling game on the N64 that actually had a pretty indepth career/story mode.
