Re: Definitive Finished/Unfinished Report Card Thread 2011
I'm definitely down for co-op Pinata. I was going to bump the DR2 thread to find a booster, but I won't be able to start until next weekend (around the 11th-12th).
It's a blast so I have no problems running through it again. There are two co-op specific achievements, but there is also the Big Spender (spend $6 million) one which sounds like works better in co-op as well since you can share magazines from each others respective games.

Finished RDR: Undead Nightmare. Now planning to play through Uncharted 2, but want to run through the original game quickly again first. That way, I'm all prepped for when the 3rd one hits.
Also, my backlog continues to take a hit as even though I finished up Read Dead, I also bought Demon's Souls and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. What's wrong with me?

So outside of the usual CoD zombies, it looks like I've played nothing but Dead Rising 2, Case Zero and Case West for the past two months and still have 3 achievements left go grab. Still waiting on pinata for those.
Fuck that was brutal. Boring as shit, but not near as annoying as the Terror is Reality(online) ones.
I did pop in Kinect Adventures to do a little achievement hunting. For the most part they are pretty easy, but it's a workout playing for two hours straight.
I started Majin & the Forsaken Kingdom the other day. It's a great little game once you get past the horrendous voice acting.
I'm close to "prestige" for a second time in Zuma Blitz. Fuck I can't quit playing this game.
Really? I barely even recall the vehicles in Gears 2. That says something right there. I remember riding in the gunner seat of something, but not driving. I love Halo's vehicles and have yet to see a shooter that matched them.
Saw you finished Splosion Man (awesome game) and Feeding Frenzy 2. I actually like FF2. I play it with my kids though, so that has something to do with it.

Gears of war 2 (xbox 360) completed 9/13
Grade: A + ; Another awesome game! It took me while to look past the over muscular macho man characters but once i did, had a great time. Gameplay is mixed up enough where you're not always ducking for cover and shooting ugly ass aliens. The vehicles were all fun to control much better than Halos vehicles.
Graphics were beautiful looking but at times felt a little dull.

I thought you were doing Gears all night. Tonight?
*edit and when I say I mis-interpreted I really mean I fell asleep on the couch.

I'm almost through beating Resident Evil 4 HD, might download Code Veronica after I do. Of course I have Rage coming in next week, so that should take up alot of my gaming time.

I can play some tonight. I have a work thing that could be over as early as 9:15 but it may take longer since I'm not doing the work, just responsible for it. So it might be a late start.

Re: Definitive Finished/Unfinished Report Card Thread 2011
I've recently been playing games a lot more and have actually finished three in the last month.
September - Resistance 2 - I missed having the full weapon wheel from the first game.
October - Space Marine: Warhammer 40,000 - Loved this game. It felt like the perfect balance of exaggeration, slightly-skillful button mashing, and pure fun. I could actually see myself playing it again.
Singularity - Liked it at times, and at other times found it really tedious (stupid ticks). It definitely feels a little past its expiration point, but it was worthwhile for a cheap price. I liked the "Ping" feature that showed you where to go if you got tired of wandering around. Seemed like a good way to keep the player from getting too frustrated with that aspect of the game.
Bulletstorm - I enjoyed the gameplay of this, but the dialogue/ language was just irritating from start to finish. The graphics of the outdoor backdrops were detailed and gorgeous, and the indoor/ corridor stuff never felt too repetitive or drab. The overall level design seemed really polished to me.
November - Halo: Reach.

Finished Mass Effect 2 and borrowed Resistance 2 from a neighbor and ran through it real quick. Not sure yet how I'm going to bide my time over the next week waiting for Arkham City.

I'm giving up on Shadow Of The Colossus. I'm sorry but I nearly fell asleep wandering around those fields.

I bumped an old thread last year blasting the game as well. I don't know if it hasn't aged well or if it was never a good game but it's certainly not worth the heaps of praise it garners.

You should stick with it. I agree, the time between leaving on your horse and getting to the colossus isn't the best (although the scenery is pretty cool), but once you get to the colossus and have to figure out the best way to take it down is fucking awesome.

Finished Bulletstorm this morning and I think I'll just play Madden 12, Forza 3 and Masters 12 for a few days until Uncharted comes out.

Working on:
Batman: AC
Dead Space 2 ( I haven't played this one for some time now. I just got bored and annoyed with the enemies)
Neither sequel has me plowing my way through them unable to put them down like their predecessors.
Finished:
Gears of War 3...decent game. Single player was ok but nothing special.

Knocked out Uncharted 3 on Normal this last weekend. I didn't like it quite as much as the 2nd one, but I might play it again if they patch the aiming.

Just wrapped up Arkham City. It was good but I didn't like it as much as Arkham Asylum. Looking forward to getting some freetime and kicking off Uncharted 3 this weekend.

Just wrapped up Uncharted 3. Outside of the aiming the game was pretty much perfect imho.
