I found the complete edition today at WalMart for $15 clearance. Looking forward to playing that eventually

I finished the main game and am only a couple of hours in the zombie thing. Does the zombie stuff get a lot better? I just don't feel it and am finding the zombie stuff more tedious than fun.
I LOVED the regular game by the way.

The Zombie stuff doesn't really change. You pretty much do the same thing over and over.

Hopefully they will finish the story someday with Red Dead Retribution.

I've played about 9 hours and so far I'm liking it a lot. Most of my time has been spent hunting wild animals and going after Bounties. Nothing is more satisfying than Lassoing a Bounty and hogtying them back to the sheriff

Also, the best hunting in the game comes after you unlock the map. That's when you get to really test your hunting skills.

I would sit down to play the actual story and hours later I'd realize all I'd done was hunt or pick flowers.
I was playing the other night with a friend and got creamed and his response when I asked where he was was "oh sorry, I saw a bird and was chasing it".

haven't we had enough fun at my expense in the various Red Dead threads? Even inane thread makers have feelings...

I bought the digital version on sale yesterday and I was somehow able to get the install button to pop up early on the Xbox store. 7.46gb later and I have RDR on my Xbox One.
Jealous? You shouldn't be because it won't let me play it. I get the standard error code you get when you try to launch a preloaded game before the release date.

I picked this up on sale this week, as well, and can't wait to play it sometime this weekend hopefully. I have really fond memories of this game and hope it holds up.

Anyone have the chance to play this yet? How does it hold up? Anyone know if the DLC (game add-ons, extra missions, etc.) work on the One?

Welp, I have had the Goty discs for a long time sealed and I opened them today. It installs on the One really easy as two separate entities, disc one single player and then two for undead nightmare/multiplayer. I played the single player for about an hour. It runs really well and looks great. But what I really learned is that I suck at riding a horse. It's fun though.
