Re: WWE SmackDown Vs. Raw 2011
360 myself.
The game is getting pretty solid reviews that all seem to average at 8/10.
Biggest complaints so far:
-Free roam is kind of dull in RTW
-New physics are glitchy
Best aspects so far:
-Universe mode is great and never ending
-New physics allow for more realism and look brutal at times for the things you can pull off
Player complaints:
-You cannot upload created stories that have downloaded content (ie: downloaded CAWS_
-Bigger CAW restrictions

There are 70 Tag Team slots in the game this year, which was awesome. But, there is now a limitation: A wrestler can only be in one stable at a time!
With 76 in game (including DLC and Bret Hart), and 50 CAW slots, that's 126 total. The most teams you can make is 63!
So basically you can't have D-X and The Rockers, or D-X and Evolution. You can't have JeriShow and ShoMiz.
Every time you'd want to try having a new stable, you'd have to tear apart the old one and build another one every time.

Yeah, I thought it had LESS CAW restrictions. Like when you download a CAW, you can't change the attributes, but you get them as they were uploaded. i.e. you don't have to build them up from scratch by playing 100s of matches. That's a HUGE plus in my world!

Same here. But I don't play wrestling games online. Everyone has their characters built up to 99 for each attribute and have some sort of special controllers that get all the moves in.
I'm not saying I'm really good at these games and I'm not saying I suck, but when someone does a match w/ me for 35 minutes and they're just fucking around and I can only get 2 moves in the whole time, something's up...

The restrictions have to do with creating the CAWs in the first place. Transparancy has been taken out of a lot of the parts, so blending is a problem. Makeup has been reduced, etc. Basically the CAW making community is up in arms because they believe it will be a lot harder to make truly realistic looking CAWs.

Re: WWE SmackDown Vs. Raw 2011
So I have a question on downloadable content - kind of confusing, i apologize in advance. I have a 360S that is my main 360, I have a Gold XBox live account that I use on it. My old 360 is in the basement and is used by my kids. They don't have XBox Live ID's or anything, the box isn't even connected the internet most of the time - they have gamertag's that are just local to that machine. That is the 360 where SvR will be played 80% of the time. Now, on that machine, if I want to:
a) use the Bret Hart code from the copy of SvR I bought from Best Buy
and/or
b) buy the Fan Axxess DLC pack
do I need to get at least one of them a Silver account on XBox live to do so? Or can I move my gamertag over to that box temporarily and use it to grab DLC on that machine (even though most of my liscenses are on my main XBox S).
Or, short question, can you have one Gold Live account and use it to buy DLC on multiple machines? And if so, would I have to be signed in with my gamertag every time they wanted to use it on that 2nd machine?

For example, you can purchase something on machine A. Then you can download it again on Machine B with the same gamertag. However, since B was not the original machine the DLC was purchased on, it can only be used on that machine when the purchasing Gamertag is logged in.
I believe the DLC would work on Machine A regardless of which gamertag is logged in, since that was the console the purchase was made on.
Really, my recommendation would be to just temporarily connect the basement 360 to the internet, use a silver account to download the DLC, and then disconnect it from the net. If you went the other route, your kids would have to log into your gamertag everytime they played the game to use the DLC.

Just picked up mine with the Bret Hart code. Thinking I am going to pit him against HBK in my first match and toss HBK around some steps and ladders for a while.

Awsome moment during my TLC match with HBK (Drat, he beat me twice! :P). I went to suplex him by a chair and his foot hooked the chair taking it up with him and it came down with him on his head.

Found a cheat code for the tribute to the troops arena
-- Players of WWE's SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 video game, which is officially released today, can access the Tribute to the Troops Arena via passcode. The code to unlock the setting is '8thannualtribute'

And of course if that's not enough, you can buy unlock everything as DLC for a buck or 80 MS points. Or get it as part of Fan Axxess.
That's also the way to get Ministry Undertaker.

Its pretty lame that you can buy or get everything separately with a code but you have to get Bret Hart by getting the game at Best Buy only. I mean the other store exclusives can be gotten I just don't understand why that one has to be different.

. Seriously though, I practically called the whole No Blood thing, but at least it is only related to online. If it had been local as well, I probably would just wait on this sucker. I hate being right about THQ and SvR, but it is always a case of we give you yadda yadda yadda but we are going to take away things you liked from last years version like madda madda madda. *sigh*

Hmmm, also seems like you can't climb on top of the announce tables this year unless I am missing something. That's a strange removal.
