People have noticed songs missing from RB1 on the live stream that's been up for the last day or so.

The ones noticed are "Black Hole Sun", "Dani California" and "Rock Your Socks". I don't know the situation with the D but people are speculating that Soundgarden and RHCP have blocked these songs from future games due to exclusive Guitar Hero deals.

On the other hand, the RB1 tracks are individually deletable. Considering that the guy had Soundgarden DLC its doubtful that he intentionally deleted Black Hole Sun but then again he could be messing with people.

It will suck though if stuff we already have on our hard drives and have imported is blocked on RB3 for licensing reasons. The consensus has always been that the export secured those songs for all future games but it looks like that may be incorrect.

I could live with never playing Black Hole Sun again. In fact, I'd probably pay more to do a transfer that didn't include Black Hole Sun. I love me some Soundgarden, but please, no more Black Hole Sun.

Anybody hear what's going on with the PS3 bundles? I ordered mine through Amazon last month, i'm hoping that they honor the price with a "Soft Bundle".

From the Press Release:
"A mixture of live and studio tracks from the debut album from The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Are You Experienced, will be available as a special Rock Band edition album download Tuesday, Oct. 12"

Guess I'll give the live tracks a listen next Tuesday before committing completely.

Also, according to RockBandAide.com it looks like some existing DLC might have harmonies in RB3....they show a screencap of Pearl Jam DLC with pro drums and 2-harmonies

I don't know, I thought HMX made it clear that once the RB1 export was licensed, it was treated the same as DLC meaning they won't be pulling tracks based on any new contracts or whims artists/labels have. I would be surprised and disappointed if tracks on my hdd suddenly won't work in RB3, regardless of my feelings on them.

I don't even remember what songs are disc-based and what songs are DLC when I have all the DLC by a band, which I do with Tenacious D. I know someone said something about one of the D songs disappearing.

I'm not really into Soundgarden myself but as a RHCP fan the idea of losing their music is worrisome, especially since you could assume that if "Dani California" wasn't licensde from RB1 then "Give It Away" wouldn't be licensed from RB2 which would leave that album incomplete for those of us who spent $20 on it.

Okay then, the only disc-based D song is Master Exploder from RB2, which AFAIK isn't exportable yet.

I don't have any details, but I'm guessing either he disabled them or accidentally 1-lightered them. I highly doubt that stuff on your HDD is magically not going to work anymore.
