I ventured into the rockband forums, and found out that the bundle has been pulled for pre-order everywhere. harmonix was supposed to issue a statement a couple days ago, but have gone silent. I went ahead and pre-ordered game + keyboard separately just incase there's a run on them when they do let us know wtf is going on. Sucks though, that the keyboard currently is not listed as release-day shipping from Amazon.

also, from my time on rockband.com, found that some store shipped out the game early and a couple people got it this week. I couldn't stomach reading 40+ pages of 40 posts/page over there though. For every 1 post of actual information there's 12 pages of drivel. So, if anyone has the patience, there may be something we don't know about RB3 somewhere in that mess...

I'm definitely in for End of the World, RFE, Stand, and Frequency. I had no idea T. Rex did the original Children of the Revolution and since it sounds nearly identical to Bono's cover from Moulin Rogue!, I'll probably get that too.

Pinata, those are the 4 tracks from REM that I'm def getting. I will have to listen to the other 4 as buying the whole pack saves 200 points. If I buy 4 individually and then want the other 4 in the future, it will cost more.

In short, recently one site shipped out the bundles early, but EA/Harmonix caught on and had the company intercept the shipments and recalled them back, and then refunded everyone's money.

I'm in for What's the Frequency and End of the World. Will have to preview the rest. Wish they would have included Man on the Moon. I'm not a big REM fan but that's my favorite of theirs.

Oh yeah, I'm in for that set. I think I bought some of those songs for GH, but it's been so long since I touched that game that I don't really remember.

There will be no PS3 bundle. Some kind of region issue crept up in the US that prevents it. Doesn't make sense, but it is what it is.

3 or 4 people got the game early from an unknown retailer, these people only told HMX who the retailer was.

About 20 people ordered from a place called AntOnline but due to them discussing it so publicly, the orders either got cancelled or packages that already shipped were intercepted.

Really? They can still release it seperately, but there's a problem putting it in the same box with the game and selling it ten bucks cheaper than buying them both? I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous.

If its really some ridiculous region issue that makes no sense and they have no control over, then they should do PS3 owners a solid and give them a $10 discount when the keyboard and game are bought together.

Supposedly that's what Harmonix and MadCatz are trying to make happen: to help retailers honor their pre-order prices with a 'soft bundle'. Same thing, different boxes.

It's ridiculous, but it's also absurd enough that I have no trouble believing it's true. I'm sure it's Sony needlessly being a pain in the ass.

Just drop the price of the PS3 keyboard by $10. Hardly anyone would buy the keyboard without the game.
