That was a good article!

Of course, the stupid optimist in me immediately thought "Ok, in the second sentence, in bold, they liken the end of Rock Band to the Pixies' hiatus and I just got the brand new Pixies EP on vinyl yesterday. Obvious sign that Rock Band is coming back!"

While it seems the Rock Band love has died off a bit, I did want to point out that the Custom Creators folks dropped a great 4 pack today of Cyndi Lauper. I'm always appreciative when they check previously unreleased big time 80s acts off of the list.

You essentially are reverting the final RB Title Update from Harmonix to an older version that allows customs. Download customs to a jump drive along with older Title Update to play in RB. You are prompted to update RB when you boot it up, turn it down and enjoy your customs. You can only play offline with customs since online requires the newest Title Update.

All downloaded songs mix with your existing library of official songs.
