That makes sense, as it's still a pre-order for February 1st.

Amazon has release-day shipping on this, so I grabbed it with my $20 LivingSocial cert I got. $20 out of pocket for it is not so bad, especially with all of the songs being "exclusive", at least for the time being.

Right, just wanted to go ahead and list them all, and save someone the click, you know?

I'll pick up a code from eBay for <$10.

So my green button popped right off the neck of my wooden Fender Strat last night. Looks like the supports are broken, but it popped right back in and worked fine.

I'll do some more looking at it this weekend, but has anyone heard of that before?

The completionist in me would need them in RB3. Also, an extra 200 possible RB-related gamerscore next hurts.

Not following you here. I understand wanting to have the disc if you're a RB completionist, but yeah, I'll take my eBay code and put all the songs in RB3, too.

I guess I was thinking wrong or weirdly or something. I was thinking if I bought the disc, I wouldn't sell the code, as I would want the songs in RB3. Trying to do too many things at once.

Are the codes still importable from Metal or the early Track Pack volumes into RB2/3? I thought I read somewhere that they expired?

Nice on the Bowie. I think Stevie Ray Vaughan plays on 'Modern Love' though he's a lot more prominent on 'Let's Dance'. Wonder if they will notate the sax solo. 'Fame' brings back good memories for me, that was the very first track I ever made an online remixer for, waaay back in 1998. Awesome song, plus you get John Lennon. I would have thought that would be a fun one for Pro Guitar, but oh well.

Early!

The Clash’s iconic 1979 album London Calling is coming to Rock Band 3. The full album will be available as downloadable content on Feb. 1, and will feature pro-mode guitar and bass tracks to help players actually learn the ins and outs of Mick Jones and Paul Simonon’s parts.

It will also include a special Pro-Instrument-Destruction-Mode, in which players can wildly swing their plastic axes around, destroying their living rooms. (Kidding, though you’re certainly allowed to do whatever you want in the privacy of your own homes.)

Available on Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation®3 system (Feb. 1):

· “London Calling” X
· “Brand New Cadillac”
· “Jimmy Jazz”
· “Hateful”
· “Rudie Can’t Fail” X
· “Spanish Bombs” X
· “The Right Profile”
· “Lost in the Supermarket”
· “Clampdown” X
· “The Guns of Brixton”
· “Wrong ‘Em Boyo”
· “Death or Glory”
· “Koka Kola”
· “The Card Cheat” X
· "Lover’s Rock”
· “Four Horsemen”
· “I’m Not Down”
· “Revolution Rock”

Tracks marked with “X” will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for an additional $0.99 per song.

When was the last mastering of London Calling?

Never really got into the Clash, but I guess I need to listen to this album tonight and get reacquainted.

I get it's the full album... but if you're going to do The Clash, you have to have Rock the Casbah!

I believe the last mastering was 1999 or 2000, and they have repackaged it in 2004 and 2009 for anniversaries. In 2004 they added The Vanilla Tapes (a disc of raw versions of songs) and the 2009 limited edition also contains a making-of DVD. If you just want the album, any of the single-disc versions will be fine.

My copy is pre-2000. Anybody have any opinions on the differences? Sure I could wait 5 days to find out the final game versions, but this is AMERICA DAMMIT!

Fuck. Yes. I want at least 7 of those tracks, so depending on pricing, I might be in for the whole thing. It'll be the first DLC I've bought in like a month!

It will likely cost you $6 more for the rest of the tracks.

I will be buying and playing the shit out of that album. One of the best ever recorded in rock and roll history.
