Really lame that the MIDI Pro adapter isn't wireless. You connect a midi cable from the guitar/keyboard to it, and then there is a USB cable that comes from that unit to the system.

I can only do like six or seven songs before my voice starts to go. I'm not sure how vocalists do it.

If your throat is hurting from singing then you are doing something wrong.
Be careful you can actually damage your vocal cords.
Try singing from your diaphragm instead of your throat.

Where did that song come from btw? It's in both RB3 and one of the Hero games. Is it from a movie or something?

It came from the '90s. (Was that on your 31 Days of Horror Films?)

I don't know what that means. Maybe that's my problem. I thought I sang from both my diaphragm and my throat. I don't intentionally leave anyone out.

This. Or make sure you are singing within your vocal range.

Same here. Logging in doesn't work, and I can't access the forums either.

Yes, that one starred Dylan McDermott and Juliette Lewis.

I can usually do about 12-15 songs before I really need a break. But I'm usually sipping a little bit of water inbetween most songs.

Before there was Rockband, I did a lot of Karaoke for years. Imagine a non-smoker going into a smoke filled dominated by country room to belt out some glam rock tunes. Yeah, I was kinda out there.

Anyway, for years I really did it wrong too. I tried to sing way too hard and way too long. I was a glorified mimic. However, when Rockband, Karaoke Revolution and my current favorite (for vocals) Lips came around...it taught me to sing more naturally. Sure, you might be able to not hit some ultra high/low notes, but you sound a lot better when hitting 90% of your notes. The games out there now (if you pay attention to what you are doing) actually teach you to sing better.

As a result, my voice is ten times better at 35 years old than I was singing in college at karaoke bars. I sometimes wish I would have learned how to sing earlier, maybe I could have headlined a cover band or something

I'm logged in, but I have been from the beginning. Not going to log out.

I wonder when the game will actually link with the website? It's kinda cool what they're showing in there and I'm very interested to see how quickly they talk with one another.

Also I'm thinking of spamming Facebook with my Performance and Career Digests.

I was just about to post that. Stupid that it seems to be broken that way.

Anyways. It says I linked my account but haven't played RB3 yet. I hope when I turn on my system it syncs with everything I've done so far.

Take a deep breath between lines/verses and sing as you exhale. Let the words fall out of your mouth instead of pushing them out.

Anyone ever used one of the Logitech Guitar Hero controllers?

http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Xbox-...8930219&sr=1-3

It's 62% off right now, and I need a new guitar...

Gamestop exclusive songs available to all next week.

http://www.rockbandaide.com/9610/top...d-by-harmonix/

That's much better than three months.

I have a PS3 one, and I think it's pretty awesome.

Pro Guitar on the Mustang is so much fun it's ridiculous.
Even someone who doesn't play guitar and played on Easy had a real blast with it.

Seems like several of the Amazon reviews state it looks great but has problems with the fret buttons and strum bar.

For the same price you could get the Rickenbacker made for Beatles Rock Band. I always liked the feel of the Hoffner, but not the length of the neck. Maybe I'll nab that as I'm still playing with a GH IV guitar.

Or I could just get a Mustang while I wait for the Strat. Damn decisions!

I really want the mustang since I have 4 months for the squire, but I don't really want to spend 150 now, and another 320 in 3 months.
