I don't have Deadlight yet. Glad I didn't pick it up when it was cheap during that last big sale.

I got Hitman free with my videocard. I just played 30 minutes and didn't like it.

I'm excited about Dead Light.

I just tried The Wolf Among Us, one of the previous freebies, and really liked it too.

I have such a huge backlog of games that I haven't even bothered playing any of the free games that I've religiously downloaded pretty much the first couple days they are available. I would imagine that's par for the course for several people around here though. I do credit that huge backlog for freeing me of the temptations to jump into current gen right away!

^^ at ANOTHER Spiderman deal. Why don't they just give that gd game away in cereal boxes and on Live so they can stop spending resources to pimp it out every 4 weeks?

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (which includes the expansion pack and, if the digital download is the same as the physical copy, alternate audio tracks and HD textures) is on-sale this week for $14.79.

A little more lukewarm but still worth the price, Remember Me is also marked down this week to $13.19.

Thankfully both of those have already been free on PS+, or I'd be picking them up.

Any specific XBLA recommendations in that sale list Decker or anyone else?

I picked up Iron Brigade so far.

Battleblock Theater is pretty great. A fun platformer -- funny too. You'll die A LOT, but you won't really mind.

Castle Crashers is old, but a classic. Such a fun game if you don't already have it. I'm sure the online community is long-dead, but it can certainly be played solo as well.

Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is quite good. A Metroidvania-type game that's really well done and entertaining.

Wrecketeer is a Kinect-only Angry Bird-type clone. Nothing special (and has been free briefly in the past), but if you have a Kinect, it's certainly worth 99 cents. One of the best games for the Kinect

I'd probably pass on the rest.

Major Nelson hasn't updated the XBox Live stats in months, but the last one in November still had Castle Crashers pretty high up in number of users. Not too bad for a game almost 6(!) years old. I love that game, still one of my favorite arcade titles of the generation.

Perfect Dark for $3? Still overpriced.

Hunt down the Goldeneye remake instead. It's actually pretty solid.

Halo Wars is fun for $5, especially if you are a fan of Command & Conquer.

I didn't really like Perfect Dark (or PDZ) much at all. Felt dated and clunky.

It is weird that the Goldeneye remake sort of fell off the face of the earth. I don't think I ever saw it drop in price much or go to clearance.

There's a veritable shitload of DLC going on sale right now for this upcoming week. So much stuff, I'm not gonna list it all. But some games include: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Batman: Arkhams City and Origins, Borderlands 2, Dishonored, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Pac-Man CE DX+, Pinball FX 2, Saints Row IV, Skyrim, State of Decay, Tropico 4, The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and many more!

ALSO: Tomorrow's the last day for free Hitman: Absolution. Deadlight free tomorrow night.

Thanks. I've been waiting for the Dishonored DLC to go on sale since I finished the game about a month ago. Picked up the two campaign add-ons for $2.49 each.

Arkham Origins sale includes the Season Pass for $9.99 (50% off). Probably going to pull the trigger on that, for the skins and the Mr. Freeze DLC coming soon.
