Re: Ever make a wasted DLC purchase?

Mad Moxxi DLC for Borderlands was one of my worst...played it once pretty much and done. Pretty poor DLC if you ask me.

You know, it's really sad there isn't a demo option for DLC.

I also once sold the FREE Assassin's Outfit i got in Red Dead for $22, and the FREE building of something or other in Assassin's Creed 2 for another $25. Suckers born every minute...

Down the tube: 800 (? maybe on sale)
I was between games the other night (finished Shadow Complex and PoP:Forgotten Sands) and decided to revisit Tomb Raider to knock out the DLC. So I no longer have this mark on my DLC purchases. Yea!

Have you ever bought DLC that you never got to? A binary pile of shame of sorts? I'm not talking about buyers remorse (I personally wish I hadn't bought N+ or Lumines), but just like MWB said, you bought something in hopes of getting to it eventually, but there it sits on your hard drive just mocking you.
Update: My wasted purchase which inspired this thread turned out to be not-so-wasted after all. I bought the Zombie Island DLC for Borderlands and then was going to re-buy it as part of the Borderlands GOTY edition. But with the other Borderlands DLC packs being on sale this week, and needing to find more stuff to buy for the 2400/800 rebate thing, I decided to pick up those up instead of getting the GOTY edition.

Still have yet to play the game though, so instead of having spent $5 on DLC for a game I've never played before, now I've spent $15 on DLC for a game I've never played before, which is kind of foolish and stupid, I suppose. Maybe bumping this one wasn't such a good idea after all.
