Re: Singularity
I like what I'm seeing about the game, but it does come off as a poor man's Bioshock. Probably a rental or a game to be picked up on the inevitable price drop.

That didn't take long.

I rented this from Gamefly and I love it. I definitely got the Bishock vibe, especially with the audio recordings. What's with the game not having subtitles though? Kind of stupid.
I am about an hour in and it's been really fun.

So has anyone delved into the multiplayer at all? I'd like to hear opinions from you guys who have actually jumped in and checked out the game modes.

I did. Awesome experience. I didn't want it to end. I really enjoyed it. There are three endings, and you can experience them all by loading the game immediately after the credits.
There's also a hidden scene at the end which may impy a sequel which is cool.

Re: Singularity
I finished the game as well. Enjoyed it, but it's not something I'd highly recommend. It's too generic, and since it borrows heavily from a lot of other, better games it's almost instantly forgettable. It's well-polished though, and definitely worth a playthrough at a discounted price.
Also, multiplayer achievements are evil and should be punishable by death. Play 100 games -- really?

Finished this up last night. Yes it's very much Bioshock (and a dozen other games) but I found it to be quite entertaining. Batshit story, lots of ways to make guys go 'splodey... worth playing.

Re: Singularity
I picked this one up from Blockbuster’s last B1G1 sale and I have to admit, for $7.50 it was fun while it lasted. Like others had said, it has a Bioshock look and feel to it but didn’t use the time shifting element nearly as much as the game advertises. The environments were changing enough to keep it from getting boring but could have used a few more (and challenging) boss battles. Also wish I would have read this thread before I started so I could have ran through it on hard difficulty since normal was way too easy. Overall, I would recommend it has a rental. You can blast though it in less than 8 hrs and I don’t think I’ll be going back and replaying any time soon so off to Best Buy trade in it goes!
