My team is still on the website, but the Rangers have disappeared from both the standings found in the game. I hope this doesn't actually mean anything.

I think it is because your record is so great that you're in your own standings.

Cool - only thing I know I'll be doing is watching Lost. Pretty sure I won't be going to work but in case I do we could plan for the evening like 7ish if you want.

Unless The Show changes the ways in which we can construct these leagues, the only people who could actually play through a legitimate season without these issues are teenagers and retirees.

Luckily when my second one went down for the count I knew what was happening and immediately ejected the disc the next time I turned it on. Let us know what happens and good luck! Just please don't send it to Sony and get ass raped with their bogus ass rapepair charge.
I've contacted 2 companies that have people locally to fix the issue. They both say that it sounds like the YLOD, one wants $80, the other $90. The $90 company says it can be fixed in 24hrs, the other said they would like to keep it for a few days to run tests. Think i'm gonna try the $80 with more testing time option. This really sucks, I never realized how much I rely on my PS3 to entertain me.

Once I realized how much I actually used my PS3, I used up all my SonyRewards points on the Slim. Now I've got the backup in the bedroom, but I'm no less worried about the fat 60 going down... because that would mean I wouldn't have Netflix streaming and MLB.tv in both rooms.

oh I was thinking more during the afternoon. Between Cubs game and Lost I wasn't planning on getting on until either this afternoon or late at night.

Holy shit gg rocket. You had me all messed up with your pitching.

That was kind of strange it let you change pitchers in the middle of an at-bat.

Re: Official MLB '10: The Show PS3 Online League Thread

Believe it or not I just figured out these damn running controls. I got doubled up off first on a sac fly in my game against rocketsauce so I had to stop using just L1. Didn't realize you had to hit the shape buttons - thought you had to use the D-pad for some reason.

Looks like you were pitching your ass off, too. Mr. 2-hitter!

Speaking of baserunning controls (or lack thereof), are we going classic next league?

It didn't feel like it. Of course Alexei had an error - just like real life!

The real failure was only 2 runs on 13 hits - not good.

Yeah I'd be fine with classic the next time.

I know it might take away some of the fun but what are the chances of having auto baserunning? The only reason I suggest is bc of the amount of lag we experience in the game, theres always times when well press to advance runners and they wont go or press to return runners and they wont. Just a suggestion.

So what happens with the games that were scheduled against people who were dropped or quit? My game against Scott95266 is showing as Unplayed. Could this also get decided against me?

My next opponent who is still here is Drexl. I think it's just Herdfan after that - all the others are drops. That one is available now Herd.

I don't ever get that problem from lag. I get it at times even playing offline because the baserunning controls don't fucking work for shit, but I've never had problems due to lag really.

One other thing I've been wondering about regarding the timer. How do you know which series it is counting down for? It would be nice if under the countdown clock it would say series 4 or whatever one is about to end, but as it stands I have no clue which one it is counting down for.

That's a good question. And you guys are giving me too much credit here. Most of my games have been close until the last few innings. It's anyones ballgame if we actually make it to the playoffs.

So true. I was looking at the standings on the PS3 side last night and I'm currently in last place and you are not even in the league at all according to them...
