I read that the content added to this version is pretty minimal. I've played through the 360 version once, and while I enjoyed it, I don't think it's a game that I really want to revisit.

The makers of the PS3 version should be ashamed of themselves. I know the 360 version wasn't a technical marvel or anything but the PS3 version at times feels to be running at half the framerate of the 360 version. And there are numerous audio stuttering problems.

I'm tempted to pick up the PC version on Steam, but I'm concerned it'll have similar issues on my Surface Pro.

In my efforts to clear as much backlog as possible before next gen really kicks off, I finally got around to playing Deadly Premonition. I had owned it since release day.

I went for 100% achievement completion as always, which involved 3 full playthroughs of the game (one on each difficulty). On one of those playthroughs, I completed all 50 sidequests and collected all 65 trading cards.

I did all of this within the past week and a half. Games will never be the same.

Finally popped in the director's cut. This game is still as delightfully crappy as I remember. The new controls are definitely a step up, though.

Totally forgot about the monsters saying "Don't...want...to...die!" when you kill them. This fucking game.

Also L&O did show up to my house fully clothed recently. I didn't recognize him so I shot his ass.

Literally. I shot him in the ass.

For some reason Amazon never budges on the price for this game, but I did finally pick up the D.C. this weekend at Wal*Mart for $30. Was hoping to score it for $20, which is their website price, but none of the stores that carried it had it for that price.
