Had nothing to do with recent albums. I listen to a ton of glam rock bands and thought they were just another 80's band during that era. I already was following a bunch of bands and had no idea what their older music was like. I was completely in the dark about them and then that changed a few years back when I got a hold of a couple of their records on a whim. Now sure the recent album is crap, but their older stuff is awesome beyond belief.
Big difference in wording as most think they have gone to shit since Promised Land. I don't subscribe to that, but they are definitely not the same band that put out Mindcrime, Empire & Promised Land, that's for sure. |

At least they had the decency to relegate Creed to RBN. Thank god it's a 6-pack too and not a weird 5-pack like Miley's so they could put Party in the USA on the RB3 disc. I really, really hate Nickelback.

I've said it before with the addition of artists to the RB platform that I didn't like...but any moves Harmonix can make to increase the user base and the variety of music within the game is a good thing. Even if it is Nickelback.
I do have to say that I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when the Harmonix folks were talking to the NB people about getting their music in the game. Especially after all of the trash-talking about the band during The Beatles: RB development cycle. Was there some uncomfortable silence and mean looks or was it all about bygones and making some money? |

I'll never get all the Nickelback hate. :lol: I couldn't remember more than 3-4 songs from them and name even less, but from what I've heard they are no more or less mediocre than any other shitcan rock band out there. Yet people fall all over themselves to praise Kings of Leon, and they sound like the same bunch of jackoffs as every other Nickelback, Creed, etc. out there.
