RX Bandits finally hit RBN for purchase! It's not the song I would have expected and I feel weird passing on it. But, like the one MxPx song, I'm torn between supporting the band and encouraging more from them and being a rational consumer and only paying for things I want to play.

Is there a separate Mic Sensitivity setting in RB2? I went into settings and saw "Vocal Track", but that seems to lower both the in-song vocal track AND the mic sensitivity. Can you have a soft mic with a loud/normal vocal track?

There's an interview with Teasdale up over at RBN. Not a whole lot of new stuff in there. Scores won't be transferring over. It kinda sucks, but I can deal with it.

Also, we're probably getting some Ministry DLC pretty soon. It was shown on the Miley Cyrus commercial.

Isn't there already a few Ministry songs in RBN playtest? Thought I remembered playing one or two, which were exactly like the other songs they released through the normal RB store.

There could be other stuff (non-M) coming soon as well. All I know is in the commercial, they showed the quickplay song select screen and you could see two new Ministry songs (Jesus Built My Hotrod, and Stigmata).

Flash, there were a few songs up on RBN Playtest, but they were all from their newest album. Older stuff sounds a bit different, and probably plays differently as well.

If you're talking about RBA's tweet, he's talking about the DS version of RB3 as seen at E3. It hasn't been confirmed for the disc versions, afaik, but it's a pretty good indication.

It's Miley Cyrus day. As one of the few Rock Band fans in the "STFU already" camp about it, I've said I'd buy it ASAP if they were ever released because my daughters are way into it. Or so I thought...

Friday I heard my elder daughter singing Party in the USA. I asked her about it and she told me what it was.

"Oh. You like Miley?"

"Eh, not really. Just that song."

"What about Hannah?"

"No."

So, I was left a little dumbfounded as to when my daughter transitioned from this teeny bopper to a nerd punker that only wants to listen to Green Day, Jonathan Coulton, or They Might Be Giants. Apparently I'm just a damn good parent.

Anyway, I was going to wait until tomorrow for when I get the new Sexbox360 just to have one less license to transfer. I haven't actually told her the songs are in the game yet, so she might change her tune. Of course, there's always the 6 year-old...
