Could be, but it stands to reason it'll affect all modes.
No matter what the problem of a 4-profile restriction on the Xbox has to be dealt with. Having mics just float unassigned to any specific player makes the most sense. It's just a matter of how the game decides whether or not to expect a vocalist if they're attached. |

I will be supremely pissed if they make it so vocalists are just unattached to any gamertag and therefore have no achievements etc. At my house we primarily play the games with only the mic and just take turns singing the songs.

In fact, the image L&O posted makes it clear that only happens when you have all 4 instruments attached.

Honestly I really wished I had gotten Lips when it went on clearance at a bunch of places.
I'm content with Rock Band though (even for just singers) since it has had a steady stream of good DLC and makes it so my investment works for parties etc. Sometimes we do break out the drums. Now with RB3, my wife and daughter are both drooling over getting to play keyboards. |
