I guess keytars are a "This far and no farther!" moment? Picard would be proud.

You just want everything to be a strap-on.

I'm bored... here are some other recent RBN songs that I think are fun on drums (it's pretty much all Metal with a bit of punk):

Spoiler:

This song is just awesome and awful all at the same time (chick is insane)... but the part around 1:20 is fun as hell:

Bonus song:
Spoiler:
From 2:40 on, it's as if they have a caveman for a drummer!

I went to high school with the singer. Not my cup of tea musically, though.

Haha, that's cool. It's not really my thing either, but I enjoy playing it.

Did you already know he was in that band or did you recognize his voice?

Not to mention the attachable Neil mustache from the 70s. It's a must-have.

Re: Rock Band Thread - This thread was made for Rockin, and that's just what it'll do

Even before keyboard support was confirmed in the GD:RB demo, I was expecting it to be unveiled on stage at E3. I imagined a HMX band getting up there and showing us a song that would be in the game and they'd rock out for a while. Then the song would naturally segue into a prominent piano piece and the stage lights would dim but for a single spotlight on that now-visible player. I imagined the note track being added during the song (like GH's drop-in/out feature) to maintain the surprise as long as possible. The only thing I wasn't sure of was what song would work best. Somehow I forgot all about my desire for this song until it hit my iPod while mowing this morning. Harmonix got The Who and The Beatles to play and show up at E3 in years past. Is it really so hard to believe that we might see...

I just noticed that the GD:RB pre-order credit at Amazon has been changed from a $20 credit to a $10 credit. Will people that ordered when it was a $20 credit still get the $20? The fine print does read "Amazon reserves the right to change or terminate this promotion at any time."

All this keyboard talk has me thinking "Imagine" by John Lennon will be in the game.

Why don't they get someone known for playing the piano, like Elton John, instead of someone known for playing the guitar?

Don't question Pinata. He's touchy about this stuff.

Remember how my whole setup was based around a surprise announcement? Geez.

Also, you never answered my question about your magical dueling skills in the RDR thread. You yella'?

November Rain? After the piano "Solo" with the spotlight, etc. bring everyone back into the band with Slash's solo.

That'd be good too, but don't let Suprmallet see it or he'll get on ya.
