Wow. Sounds like campfest '10. I'll bring coffee and a starter log. One of you guys bring marshmallows and smores supplies. I'll join you guys after sorting out NCAA 11 - if necessary.

Well it looks like the BD drive on my PS3 has crapped out. I just had it fixed 4 months ago when it got the yellow light of death. Guess i have to pull out my spare PS3.

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

had a good time tonight with most of the usual suspects...

Origami is amazing with the sniper rifle...at one point he jumped off of something and sniped me in midair, then when i mentioned it, i saw him on a roof top, hopping and shooting at me with the rifle...and then he killed me...

I successfully got the tact knife, so I'm ready to go for Thursday...

Yowzah!!! I would hate to have this happen to me. I always get worried when I pop in a BluRay and it starts skipping and the sound gets out of sync. Then when I inspect the disc I'll find oily fingerprints or soem kind of residue. Then I'll pop it in and I'm fine.

Sorry to hear that. Which model was it that crapped out on you?

Have you tried sucking less?

You playing tonight, or does your mom have you bent over the pizza oven?

Had a blast last night with the Game mode we had going on ( barebones something? - no killstreaks, FFA or TDM in that mode. Me, Slider, sauce, nic , r2 and an late invite to Origami along with a smattering of pub players. Was fun to play and actually get XP and not have to worry about getting creamed by air support or to have to chase down those douchey testical insertion using douchebags. some high/low lights:

- Slider getting killed with a rocket launcher on the final killcam, not only once but twice by the same pub player. "Slider seeking rockets"
- Origami joining us and immediately pwning us with his sniping skills. the kid is damn good at sniping.
-13 year old pub player to nic? "Waht are you, gay?" and all of us agreeing - including nic "Yeah, he's gay" - pub player shuts up and leaves after the match is over, leaving all of us giggling.
- recieving a message from slider "CAMP MOAR NEWB" after <s<camping in taking over the cave in Afghan.
-me and slider running at each other and killiing each other with simultaneous throwing knives on overpass - which became my own personal knife only match.

Good times last night. We should try to take over a pub room every once in a while just to shake things up a bit - as long as we have the right number of players.

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

i usually have the voice volume turned way down when i'm playing in public matches, mostly because my sensitive ears can't listen to the mouths of some 12 year olds and partly because i don't want to hear them bitch about how much i suck. then i forget it's turned down when you guys invite me so i have to back out and turn it back up. annoying but usually worth it in keeping my cool. although i have been getting increasingly frustrated at how fast everyone seems to kill me when i unload an entire clip without any damage to them. i always blame it on them having better guns, hehe

I was having a blast running around with my tactical knife on that match. After he called me gay, I was looking for him. On that same match at the very beginning, I saw cruz, so I started to unload 2 full clips from akimbo mini uzis and still couldn't hit him. Then cruz says, "nice shooting."

Which was appropriately sarcastic because I saw you and unloaded my shotty in your direction and failed.

That guy watching me and R2 set up our tactical insertions for boosting, and then Cruz coming by and it turns into a brawl. Why couldn't you guys leave us the frak alone?

I got my tactical knife unlocked before you all signed on, so I just wanted to help R2 out. It wasn't like we were trying to get a nuke or anything. Now, I'm working on unlocking Sitrep Pro, and a few other gun attachments. Sitrep takes forever.

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

I just happened to round the corner when I noticed on the minimap that sombody was there and voila you guys were there. I'm not one to pass on a cheap kill.

I never use sitrep. Last night I worked on unlocking grips for my AA12 and the Spas shotties, akimbo for uzis and the grenade launcher, red dot and shotgun attachments for the FAL. Need to work on the M16 attachments and unlocking akimbo and silencers on machine pistols other than the G18s.

Another moment popped into my head - r2 spawns in front of me in favela - i kill him and he yells out "OMG I spawned dead!!!" silliness ensued

Sounds like you guys had a blast last night. I was playing a little WaW on 360 since I bought the stupid map packs and hadn't played it much since. Thanks for the compliments for my boy. He is an awesome player and WAY better than I am.

No joke, you're both right. My wife has a rule for him now: for every hour he plays, he has to ride his bike around the neighborhood. He's also infected with the disease of more. We could let him play for 12 hours, tell him he's done for the day and 15 minutes later he would ask if he could do some chores so he could play again.

nice rule. I'll have to remember that rule when my kids get infected by video game fever.

just don't delete his saved games as a means of punishment because apparently that is the worst thing you can possibly do

I remember when I was little and my mother took my PS2 away as punishment for something I had done wrong. I was very upset.

it is the worst thing you could ever do. It takes a lot to piss me off, but delete my saved games and you will face my wrath. Ask R2.
