What does everybody think about the lenght of time we are playing each game type (Love Guru, Zombies)? Are we not playing enough? Too much?

I think I got you 3 times in a row on the sniper match. For some reason you were the only one I could find.

I think ten minutes is perfect. Zombies doesn't really matter because we usually end it when the game is up anyway. If Myers were any longer I think people would get bored with camping out, and if it were any shorter Myers would never be able to find everybody.

I think in previous weeks, we have been spending too much time on the "themed games" at the expense of the "greatest hits"...but this week, i think we had a nice balance, maybe one Wayne's world too much, but it was still good. I also think it is a good idea to play some greatest hits to begin with, then in between the others, then at the end.

I think I finished at something like 0 - 12 or maybe it was 17. I know you and my son killed me the most. I was the only one moving around trying to find anyone/anything to shoot. I was the difference in score between teams even with our 1 person disadvantage.

I think my favorite match of the night was knives only on Rust. I like the 9 lives aspect and the fact that you can't walk around a corner without seeing someone. The LMG match was nuts, I don't think my countdown even finished moving from 1 to 0 when Nic killed me!

Limited respawns really only works if everyone is involved in the chaos. Some people noticeably lurk around the border trying to save some lives for the end, though it rarely works out for them . The small map works good for that mode, I think.

couldn't have said it better myself.

10 minutes is a good time limit and the extra rules we put in help out.

If there were any more rules we would need a manual and instructional video.

Right, and boy does it suck if someone does a "Join Session" and has no idea what we're doing and we take 10 minutes to explain rules and buildouts.

It's all about psychology. I think a true sniper match is about anticipating where the enemy is shooting from and where they think you will be. Tactics count. I move around but I am really selective on my shots as a sniperI think my scores on the past few sniper matches have been 4-0, 5-1, 6-1. Check out youtube for some good sniping videos.

Yeah I printed off a couple of copies for Araxthechaos' dad and he was like "holy shit, I may have to really join you guys". A couple of other 360 guys read it and they were like 'that is f'in amazing'. They were impressed by our refinements.

Rust is perfect for that mode. I know I have won the past 2 weeks of this but I felt highly satisfied since I felt like I earned it and I only slow down whenI get down to the last couple of lives.

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

I just like jumping off the tower in Rust and killing people.

I'll try to limit it to 4-5 Shrek matches. I'll also try to choose some smaller maps so MM doesn't have to run around an entire city.

Zombie matches tend to go much faster, once 1-2 people get's converted it's all over pretty fast. 20-25 minutes is enough.

- There is a 10 minute time limit on this mode.
- There is no respawning during this mode; you get only one life so use it well!

- Mike Myers must have the following setup:
Primary: Riot Shield
Secondary: None
Knives: Allowed
Equipment: Throwing Knife
Special Grenade: None

- Mike Myers cannot be killed until there is only one victim left alive, or until the last minute of the match (whichever comes first).
- When there is one victim left standing that person may only try to stab Mike Myers (no guns).
- Whoever is the last man standing against Mike Myers will become Mike Myers in the next round.
- If there are multiple victims left when the match comes down to the final minute, then anyone can kill Mike Myers and the first victim to do so will become Mike Myers in the next round.
- If neither deciding event occurs and Mike Myers is still alive, as are multiple victims, when the match ends then the player playing as Mike Myers will decide the next person to be Mike Myers.
- If towards the end of the match there are many victims still alive, then they must start moving around and no longer remain in hiding. The time that victims must start moving is dependent on the number of victims still alive. There is a system of thirty second per victim. For example, if there are three victims left, then they must start moving when there is only a minute and a half left in the match. If there are four victims left, then they must start moving when there is only two minutes left, etc.

- For this mode one person will be nominated to be a zombie; This person will choose the top team and everyone else will choose bottom.
- There is a 10 minute time limit on this mode and kill streaks are enabled.
- Respawning is on during this mode, but it is on a 7.5 second delay.

- Zombies must have the following setup:
Primary: Light Machine Gun to make you slow
Secondary: Magnum .44 (no Tactical Knife or Akimbo)
Knives: Allowed

Knives: Not Allowed

Perk 3: Any

- Zombie must not move for the first 40 seconds of the match. This gives the living 40 seconds to make their way to the hideout.
- Zombies may not use kill streaks.
- You can only kill a zombie via headshot; body shots will be of no effect. Do not stab the zombie!
- If you stab a zombie or get stabbed by a zombie, then you become a zombie and must switch teams.
- The last person living against the zombies will be named the winner and must be the first zombie during the next game.

seeing as the reason most people get on this site because of movies / DVDs , character / movie themed would be appropriate .

Could give the explosives game some kind of Hurt Locker themed name, but I'm drawing a blank for the rest.

I think my headset compensates for that even though feedback is another story. And yes 'I spawned dead !!!' was hilarious.

re: Weekly Thursday Call of Duty Night (PS3)

So he basicly loves every mode in the game - I do too.

We were looking to be more specific - headshots only, explosives only, knives only etc...

No problem on the sniper vids - just looking to help you out on your request.

He loves it all. He's talked the most about the sniping and explosives only.
