Can you hide your achievements?
My BIL send me a friend request in Xbox Live and after accepting the request the first thing I did, like I always do, was to compare our achievements, but I couldn't see anything from his list. That was in the console. So I went to my PC and that's when I noticed that he has that option blocked.
Kinda interesting to have that information blocked from your "friends", I think.

I played YDKJ with a random guy yesterday that didn't show up on my recent players list and I couldn't send him a message either. I was going to send him a message berating him for opening lobbies and playing the same episode over and over. Every single question he'd answer correctly before the choices were up. You can memorize them like that. I think his slowest response was .36 seconds.
Anyway, I ended up beating him by a few hundred $ because I got the "Wrong Answer of the Game" which he obviously didn't know anything about and his attempted screw on my backfired and I successfully screwed the 3rd player. Plus the Jack Attack evens the playing field a bit.
So my message was going to be telling him to use the WAotG to his advantage and maybe answer juuuuuuust a little slower if he was just going to keep playing it over and over hoping to trick people.

Anyone else get this email to join Xbox Live rewards? I signed up and just took a 1 question survey. I think it credits my account 20 space bucks... It basically rewards you for doing mundane things like sticking with Xbox Live, buying stuff from the marketplace, etc. Kind of surprised MS is doing this given it's overall success.

Yeah, it's been public for a few months, in beta for a year or so before that. We've talked about it here before. Make sure you go back every month for the new 20-point survey. They're all really easy and worth the quarter you get for them.

I find that rewards thing rather weak, especially since I have already activated Netflix and had just renewed my Gold for 2 years.

I've earned 30 points so far. I figure that by June of 2012 I'll have earned enough points to get me an 80 point indie game. Yay.

When I signed up it gave me a survey for 20 points. And then nothing ever again. Wasn't there supposed to be like monthly surveys or something to earn our quarter?

There is, the first of each month there's a new survey. You just go back to the site and it's there.

I've bought a ton of stuff on Xbox Live Marketplace, but for whatever reason, the rewards site doesn't acknowledge it to give me those 100 bonus points.

It's widely accepted that those things are for "first purchase/subscription", most of us have done that long before the rewards program started and we felt "gypped".
Now, some of us have got a 200-point reward for XBL Gold renewal, I believe.
YMMV but, again, even 20 points is better than nothing.

Anyone else get this email? You get 100 MS points and check back everyday for chances to win more.

Oh, and a reminder to play Kinect Sports this weekend for a chance to win 1600 points and a year of Live. I am unsure if you have to sign up through the dash ad or not. I clicked through it a few weeks ago.
