I will wait for reviews. Hopefully I can dance with a black panther and point to car windows and see them shatter.

On a slightly more serious note...
Has anyone with a 360 S/Slim ever removed the hard drive? I started getting an E68 error yesterday, which is apparently related to the hard drive. I verified this, as I can play games just fine by removing the internal HDD and running off of an external HDD. When I removed and reinserted the internal HDD during these tests, I noticed that the HDD connection on the 360 has a little bit of wobble to it. It's as though the connector is sitting on some springs or shocks, which I guess would make sense as a way to dampen vibrations for the HDD. I just wanted to verify that this in normal for the 360. Basically I want to be sure that the problem is entirely in the HDD and not in the console itself. I did do a Google search but I couldn't find a search phrase that gave me any useful results.

I had this coupon forwarded to me by a co-worker, but it seems too good to be true that it would actually work in store. Has anyone seen or used this before?

It sure looks legit, but is it a one-time use or something? Surely they wouldn't be stupid enough to issue an electronic coupon that could be easily duplicated and used multiple times by their entire userbase...

Couple good deals on the new silver controller:
$44.99 at Amazon
$49.96 at Walmart
I was hoping I could go to Best Buy and get them to pricematch since I have a BB gift card, but apparently none of the BB's in my state carry the new controller. It's online only. Weird, wild stuff.

So what's the best deal on a 12-month Live card? Anything less than $40?

Since the cards went up from $50 to $60, it looks like $40 will be the best for now. Back when they were still $50, Amazon had them for $30 in June. I keep an eye on Newegg, Dell and Buy.com to see if they put them on sale too.

I don't see why they would give you a printable coupon for 1600 pts. It's far easier for them to deposit it to your account. Obviously a fake.

Where does the XBox store downloaded trailers for viewing? We downloaded a game trailer but can't find it on the machine anywhere to view. (Note this is not a demo--those show up in your playlist--this is a trailer.)
TIA!

My Xbox 360 Drive/Add-On burned out/caught on fire tonight
I hadn't used it in a year since my old 360 got the RROD. Just bought a 360 Slim a week or so ago, so I decided to hook it back up. Heard a sizzling noise, then a spark, followed by smoke coming out of the vents on the top of the HD-DVD player.
Thought it was pretty funny/random. Luckily I still have my Toshiba HD-A2.

Wow. If there's a more fitting end for that particular product, I can't think of it.

If you have the Zune app, they go there. It is pretty stupid IMO.

I absolutely hated that change. I used to regularly watch movie trailers and such on the Xbox and now I don't because the interface is so terrible now. Stupid movie imo since now they lost someone who was voluntarily looking at advertising.

Same here. I used to download trailers and such but since I have to go into the Zune marketplace I haven't downloaded shit.

These work on windows machines for backup purposes so it's still dual use...

Add me to the list of people that stopped downloading videos, because of the change to Zune.
