Can't decide if PS+ only offers free PSN games I already own or whether I already own every PSN game worth offering. Either way, I'm feeling sort of like a sucker.

I just saw the previous posts. I didn't remember what thread I had just clicked on. I just replied to the post above me. I might be having some memory problems creeping in. Sometimes I'm too easily distracted in the quick peeks I take on the internet between patients.
What was the question again? |

What are you talking about?! This is Book Talk.
Damn video game nerds, trying to take over the site. Yeesh! |

Whoops!
I'll leave it in place so that the much-deserved mockery can continue. |

I'll give you another one : After lunch today, I was circumcising a little boy while listening to Pandora radio on my HTC Evo. Mid-procedure, a Nickleback song came on and I seriously considered contaminating my sterile gloves in order to hit the  button and skip over the song. I'm happy to say I just suffered through it. But it did cross my mind. |

Don't you have nurses/interns who can do that shit for you? (skip songs, not cut dicks)
|
re: The official Xbox 360 thread - the console of choice on nuclear submarines
Not in the room with me. Besides, they wouldn't know how to unlock my phone screen to open up the Pandora program anyway.

I can think of no better soundtrack to cut a penis to than Nickleback.
Strangely enough, babies seem to like easy listening music while getting circumcised. Phil Collins works better than lidocane as an anesthetic. |

Sorry if this was covered last week, I was out of town. Is it impossible to have a chat of any sort over Live after the dashboard update with someone who didn't get into the program? I tried to chat with my best friend last night and couldn't at all. I knew we couldn't do Party chat, but regular chat invite didn't work either.
Also, when it tries to update my Awards, avatar items and clothing, it gives me an error message. Did everyone get that message as well? Kind of wishing I'd missed the update. I like ESPN3, but otherwise there's nothing I like about it better. |

Yeah, it's the normal chat that takes over when you're in a game.
Party chat supersedes that, though. So if you're in a party, you'll want to change the party options and switch the "Chat Channel" (or similar) to "Game Chat". Or just don't be in a party. Be warned that if you're playing in a public game, you'll have to hear everyone else that isn't muted on that game chat. I've been doing this with a buddy that isn't in the preview on Borderlands lately. |

So about the addendum to my previous question : Has anyone else had error messages when trying to access their avatar gear? I need a Halloween costume!

I read somewhere on xbox.com that the avatar gear from the marketplace wouldn't work until widespread release of the software. The content already purchased is still tied to the account, but will appear locked (as a !) in the editor. The avatars are slightly different in the preview (I guess to better line up with the avatars that will work with kinect). Edit:

Any awards awarded to your account will still be awarded and will be available once updated from the service.
