re: The official Xbox 360 thread - the console of choice on nuclear submarines
My xbox just got the red ring of death (2nd time) two days ago. I tried turning it on a few times after with no success, but yesterday it worked fine. I played it twice for about 3-4 hrs total. I figure it's on borrowed time so has this happened to anyone else? Just wondering about how long I can expect it to work.

"Brave: A Warrior's Tale" has been introduced to the Games on Demand lineup. 2 gigs, $29.99. Aggregate scores of 40% at GameRankings and 43/100 at Metacritic.
I know everyone here has been wondering when they'd finally be able to download this game to their 360 and I'm glad to report that today's the day.

Okay, this is my favorite achievement ever, from Mushihime-sama Futari.

Did anyone ever find one of those weird Wal Mart exclusive Black & White wireless controller (with the eye, the dragon and old fashoned telephone depicted on it and with the wired headset) on clearance? I kept waiting, certain in the knowledge that they'd never sell at full price. They just lingered on the shelves untouched and undiscounted. Now I can't find them anywhere and I was wondering if anyone found them at a discount price somewhere else and for how much.
For those that missed it: here's what it looked like:

I saw them a while back. Are they discounting them already?

Online, it looks like they're $50, which is okay for a collectible, but I was hoping for a lot less.

Amazon's 360 Gold Box Day has started.
Left 4 Dead 2 = $34.99
Looks like Fallout 3 at 9AM EST and Assassin's Creed 2 at Noon EST.

About half of the schools are new. I didn't say they were all new and there wasn't a link to just the new ones.

What happened on Jan 16?
http://360voice.gamerdna.com/group-view.asp?id=458569
73 of 76 members of our group played that day. If you check the history, most of the time only 50% of the people play, even on weekends.
Any theories?
(Yeah, I'm bored)

Balls! All that does is remind me that I didn't do anything on the Xbox yesterday. There goes my streak. Thanks. *Puts gun in mouth*

I was celebrating John Carpenter's birthday.
But all of us combined only got 70 points that day? It must have been a Netflix/1 Vs. 100 day.
What I want to know is what the hell Pixy was playing last (on 1/20).
