I'm not sure. Both? Personally, it didn't make me want to buy the game, but I know L&O loves it. I'd say the demo is worth a download so you can decide for yourself.

I was underwhelmed by the El Shaddai demo. Beautiful, but the platforming in the 3D segments is awful, and the overall gameplay seems to lack variety. I was already getting a little bored by the end of the demo.

Seriously though...it is, but the gameplay is handled pretty well that I'm all in for the batshit crazy ride that the game is. It's like an insane mix of a ton of different games and then amped up to 11. Save points are a one eyed ghost that leaves a flaming pile of shit. You shoot goat heads to light up areas with your "boner" gun. The in game shop is a giant demon that you feed gems to that you pick up from killing enemies and then he pukes up your item. And on and on and on.....:lol:

I own DP - just haven't had the chance to play it yet. I got my annual allotment of bad dick jokes playing Bulletstorm already. Unless there's something absolutely special about this one, then I choo-choo-choose to ignore it.

Flaming poo, puking item demons, and boner guns just don't sound that appealing. In a video game.
