Game looks cool but like Halo: Reach trailer, no in game footage! And I'm assuming this game will be out next years as well? 2010 is starting to look like a great year in gaming.

The first was pretty good. Glad to see the franchise moving forward.

Eh, hard to get excited about this one... I'll eventually check it out, but it'll most likely be towards the bottom of my list. First one was pretty sloppy imo... lack of variety in locations and enemies, getting stuck, continuity errors in the cut scenes, etc

I'm really surprised they're choosing to do another one in this series. IMO they should have updated the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series and brought Kyle Katran to the next generation.

Seeing something manhandle a Rancor was pretty cool, the way they did it.

I really liked the first but am not really jazzed about a sequel. I went back to the game and bought the DLC and I just couldn't get back into it. I hate the combo/fighting system. And now we have a precedent of a cooler version with DLC being released a year later, so this is a recipe for waiting.

Yeah, I'll probably hold off for the Ultimate "Whatevs" Edition...

This may be my new approach to buying games.

Um... (spoilers for the first game)

Spoiler:
But didn't Starkiller die at the end of the first game according to the canon ending?

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

The first ones last level when your trying to bring the starship destroyer down, and tie fighters are attacking you was the most frustrating levels in any videogame I ever played, Hopefully there wont be any levels like that

The first game was kind of a let down, it had potential though

I guess the sequel isn't canon.

The good ending was the canon (for the series) ending.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

I'm shocked this hasn't been bumped since the release but having played, I see why. Truly a turd. I'm a total SW slap-dick but this game reached new levels of suckiness. Despite have great graphics and an entire universe of material to work with, the designers came up with villains and bosses by the names of "Gorgon" or "Mecha Terrorizer". The last battle vs Vader was truly uninspired so I won't even go into how lazy that level design was.

Yeah, I finally got around to playing the demo last night and it was borderline unplayable. Just a shit game through and through.

These guys weren't funny... but their review was spot on. I'm just so disappointed I played this then watched The Box back to back. I feel like my whole weekend was a fucking waste.
