Yep, pretty awful game, and I'm in the minority of loving the first one.

I was really digging this game in it's first couple levels, but by the end I just couldn't wait for it to be over. Repetitive and boring is actually how I would describe it too.

Wow, I was wondering if this would be worth $26 for the CE.

Still avoid at that price or are we getting into reasonable pricing territory? It does come with that sweet 2GB USB stick.

The game is horrible. Is the USB stick worth $20 to you?

I liked it enough to 100% the game plus DLC. I did like the first one better, though. Seemed like more of the same, so I don't get comments like "borderline unplayable".

The game is pretty awful, and one of the shortest I've ever played. Also, I may be completely wrong, but I'm pretty sure I remember stories about the USB stick being crap and not even working for a lot of people. I'd search for the information but I'm in a hurry at the moment.

Fair enough.

I wasn't sure if this was a case of "it's awful for $60 but may be decent at $20" scenarios.

I saw the CE for 19.98 at Target on clearance a couple weeks ago and hemmed and hawed over it because they also had Assassin's Creed 2 for 14.98 and I didn't have money in my budget for both. I went with AC2. Went back 2 days later and all copies of TFU II CE were gone.

Some people exaggerate when they're bemoaning the short length of games these days, but this one really is over in about 3 hours, and you won't want to play it again.

Is it worth playing even as a rental? I actually liked the first to an extent and I'm not that big on Star Wars anymore.

Sure, it's worth playing as a rental. You'll only need it for one day.

I loved the first one. The second game plays like a few random deleted levels from the first one, with no coherent story to hold it together.

I just got this for about $5 over at Steam. I'm liking it so far but I can definitely see it getting dreadfully boring. But then the first got tedious towards the end as well.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

I just grabbed this for $6 on 360, and am enjoying it. Sure, a bit repetitive, but it still feels like Star Wars more than any of the prequel trilogy ever did. I wish they would release this story as a movie... I've always been interested in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead-type stories.
