Well since you wonderful folks wouldn't let this thread die, I think I'll stick around. However, I will refrain from creating any new threads since there is this asinine ethic here that the topic must never ever ever have been discussed before. Sad that a few arrogant people have to set the negative tone here.

WE'RE arrogant???? Have you read my posts? You started a completely unnecessary thread to discuss the sales numbers of RIDE when another thread, one-day old and on the upper part of the first page was already discussing that very topic. That thread was clearly labeled and yours was deceptive and cryptic, as if begging for people to click on your thread to see what was posted. And then instead of just posting a sincere "Sorry, I didn't think to look", you get all hostile and post that this forum is lame and say you're out of here (which you didn't even follow through on). This wasn't a case of bringing up a topic that you didn't know had been discussed months earlier -- at best, it's incredible laziness that you didn't even scan through the top half of the first page for an NDP thread; more likely it was done to channel discussion topics into threads you start for some odd ego-boosting reason. You can claim I'm urinating in your oatmeal (or whatever urine metaphor you'd care to use today), but the fact is that you're at fault here and it's about time you realize that.

I play on Live regularly and rarely run into the issues you are crying about. It happens occasionally, but that is what the mute fuction is for. Maybe it's the company YOU are choosing to play with.

I would say get some friends from DVDTalk but judging by the the posts here, that looks difficult for you.

In other words, it is a crime here to dare to discuss Tony Hawk Ride in a different thread. I created a thread to discuss my opinion of the biggest dud of the year. It is the opposite of the GOTY thread. WHy are you not throwing a fit over that thread? Any game listed in that thread HAS BEEN DISCUSSED BEFORE. Since opinions can vary over a choice for bomb of the year, I felt this topic was unique enough to create a new thread.

I just happened to use the NPD numbers as the basis of my opinion. Certainly, there were other games that sold worse, but Tony Hawk was a high profile game which makes the crash more drastic.

You act like I just constantly post here polluting the forum with garbage threads. I post maybe one or two threads a month in this forum. Hardly worth noticing. Do me a favor, and stop reading my threads.

Well your post is so incredibly rude, it warrants a response which is what you wanted huh? My points:

#1 - First of all, my OP was derailed by digging up an old thread of mine for the sole purpose of attacking me. This is wrong and ironically quite hypocritical since you are posting content that was discussed in other threads.


#2 - If 90% of people are assholes, I really feel sorry for where you live. Most people I encounter in real life are genuinely friendly, polite and have manners. BTW, Xbox Live isn't the real world. Frightenly, online behavior represents a reality that could exist if we had no consquences for our actions.


#3 - I happen to believe that you gain more in life by being NICE to people. Honestly, what benefit did you get by taking time out of your day to be so rude and condescending in your response?

My only problem is rude ppl do piss me off and I get quite defensive. Eventually I have to walk away and let them get the last word in.

Bingo! People act like that because there is nobody next time ready to knock their socks off for that kind of behavior. Yes, there are quite a few assholes and idiots in the world but people tend to act more foolishly on the internet and on social gaming networks like Live or PSN. I would much rather hear someone hitting the bong while playing a football game than running off at the mouth using words that would likely get you killed on the streets.
