I'm remembering the first time I called this guy out on his "PS3 is dead" thread, and I got absolutely piled on.

You guys can suck it. ;)

I definitely wasn't a part of that pile on. I'd just ignore his posts, but then I might miss some of the train wrecks.

Are you sure those numbers are right? I know it is almost a sin to quote vgchartz numbers, but they had it selling almost that much in america alone in week 9...in fact it has sold 70,000 copies in America alone, with no update for over a month, and the last update showing it growing in sales with 9000 copies sold in a week..so with the holidays it could be over 100,000 by now. World wide it has sold 110,000 copies as of October, and I am sure that that total number is higher by now as well.

oh, and I would like to add that OP past problems aside, I think a thread about worst bomb of 2009 is a good idea, as long as we bring other games into it. Maybe worst bomb when it comes to how good it was, and worst bomb on how poor it sold. I know that Rogue Warrior got hammered by reviews, and I am sure the sales will match..

Kinda, just a general "Worst Game of 2009" thread makes more sense because anyone can toss out any shitty game they played and make for an interesting discussion. This one as intended is just about a. Tony Hawk and b. Sales figures, which is limiting.

Some suggestions for new threads:
- The 1 and only GOTY 2009 edition
- Rookie of the Year 2009 - Videogame edition (New IP)
- Surprise of the year 2009 - Videogame edition
etc..

I thought DJ Hero was going to be huge. I didn't even realize it already came out.

No way. It's got way too many walls to face. However, unlike Tony Hawk's Ride, it is fucking awesome. Hopefully more people will be able to check it out when it gets cheaper.

Is that figure for real? There's no way it could be that low, could it? That's terrible.

It is a well done game and is a nice chapter in the Dead Space franchise. Any fan of Dead Space who owns a Wii should give it a try. It seems "adult" games for the Wii really suffer a swift and awful death. Maybe they could port this over to the Xbox and PS3 to get some sales on it. If you can do House of the Dead on those consoles, you could easily do Dead Space: Extraction. There is nothing in the game's controls that couldn't be made to work on a controller.

So you take time out of your precious day to calculate totals on my posting history just to make someone look bad, try to piss me off and urinate on my day. That's really sad.

Dude, you are the troll. I want to talk about games, not insult people.

Again, it is absolutely ridiculous to expect me to search through hundreds of posts to make sure Tony Hawk was never talked about on here.

But I will gladly leave since I am so blasted hated on this forum. Unbelievable!!!

I wonder how long before this is on clearance everywhere. I might try it if the bundle drops below $30.

Chill dude.

 It's not a matter of searching through "hundreds of posts." There is a monthly NPD thread where sales are discussed. This month's thread is only a few threads down from this one.

Haha! I love that you've only responded to my posts. Even my first post that you responded to was a response to someone else that called you out with other facts. Seems you only care if the criticism comes from me.

To your credit, your post:thread ratio has increased significantly since the last time I pointed it out to you, so kudos for that. If you make two more posts in this thread before making another, that ratio is going to continue its meteoric rise.

I wait with bated breath.

Also it took me 5 seconds to go Search-Advance Search-"Tony Hawk"-Thread Titles Only and find the Tony Hawk Ride thread.

Search: Tony Hawk
Takes about 1 minute

The time it takes to find out your Thread to Post ratio takes about a minute as well.

I do like the "urinate on my day" line. Sig worthy.

Re: And the Biggest Bomb of 2009 is.....

I don't think searching for Tony Hawk was necessary, but since the sales thread was already created this one was unnecessary. If that didn't exist I don't think this one would be a big deal.

Sorry, left out the 'in its first week'. It had only been out a week when NPD released Sept. sales figures showing it'd sold 9,400 copies, which was a pretty big story back in October. I'm sure sales have been bumped by all the recent holiday sales where it's been going for $20 and $30, but it's got to be a huge disappointment to EA to see it not sell shit at full price. Especially considering they put a lot of effort into making a really solid game for a console that people bitch about having few solid games.
