Re: Borderlands

Borderlands action figures!

"Claptrap stands 4.5 inches and looks especially canon, featuring an extendable antenna (making him 6 inches), a wheel with shocks, hinged shoulder and eye flaps, ball-jointed shoulders and hinged, swiveling elbows, along with a display stand. The Psycho Bandit stands 7 inches and includes a buzz axe accessory, ball-jointed head, shoulders, elbows, thighs, feet and wrists, a hinged torso, swivel waist and hinged knees.

Check out a few photos here and look out for Series 1 figurines to be available in May, with Series 2 to debut in August with Zero the Assassin and Salvador the Gunzerker."

**********

Psycho Bandit's pants look ridiculous but that Claptrap is outstanding.

Re: Borderlands

Saw these about a week ago on the web site. Wish they came out with a lot more like all four of the main characters from Series 1 & 2 along with some of the bad guys.

Re: Borderlands

I saw a borderland faceplate a couple of years ago on ebay. I would have loved to have gotten it, but I wasn't going to pay 30 bucks for one. They are pretty rare from what i understand

The Borderlands Wiki.....Spiderants

http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Spiderant

■Explosive weapons will stun a Spiderant almost twice as often as other guns

■The corrosive element seems to have more effect than the other elements, although this could be just due to the 'splash' nature of corrosive weapons

....and hey there Vballboy51...looks like we'll know where we'll be come September.

Re: Borderlands

Did they ever add fast travel? I had no problem with the main campaign but general Knox dlc I got frustrated with the constant walking and driving I just gave up.

Re: Borderlands

Fast Travel was always there from the New-U stations

The DLC did have issues with being "black boxed" but I can't tell if you're asking just about that or in general.

Re: Borderlands

Only downside to the DLCs, unless you count Moxxie, then there's all kinda downside to that one.

Re: Borderlands

Just picked up Borderlands again. Already gone through it with Roland and Mordecai, figured why not play as Lilith.

Definitely not liking her as much as the other two. Her power seems really weak, not very useful. I generally like to tank in on things, but she doesn't seem good for that (aside from being able to quickly exit) What sort of strats should I use?

Re: Borderlands

Lilith is good with SMGs and anything elemental. I even had a couple elemental pistols that I used all the way to the end of the game. My favorite upgrade(s) were the ability to "freeze" enemies as you shot them, melee them or go in/out of phasewalk near them. Once you get in those higher levels the Phasewalk does ridiculous amounts of damage. Same with the Phoenix wings. Early on the Phasewalk is just like you said though, good enough to get out of a tough firefight.

Re: Borderlands

i just use phasewalk to get places faster. get a class mod that does +smg dmg and + smg ammo and watch yourself win. i think the 660 one is +61% dmg and +28 ammo regen/sec. crazy good.

i still think mordeci was my fav w/ the right pistols/pistol mod. or the penetrator snipers that were like machine guns. good times

Re: Borderlands

Yeah, phasewalk was great just for speed of play, and i was an SMG fiend as well.

Re: Borderlands

Forgot about her run. I started with her and couldn't use any of the other characters because they were so slow.

Re: Borderlands

Lilith w/maxed Mecenary Class and elemental SMG's such as Hellfire or Tsunami is flat out one of the or not most deadly combos in the game.. Was one of my favorites hands down.

Yup did that as well.

I am going to have to play through again as Mordecai or Roland when I get time; but hearing how slow they are sucks. Running with Lilith was great.
