whats the difference between this game and the game released last year?

New characters, an additional Ultra to choose from, some balance tweaks, and new online modes.

A 20+ dollar difference in price and more value.

I think I'm going to get rid of my copy. I was really looking forward to the game, but I'm not playing it all that much, and when I do I have a hard time getting connected to online matches (it normally takes me 3 tries). Not to mention I came to the realization that I don't really want to spend a lot of time "training" to get good with a new character, when I really need to take my fat ass outside and "train" to get some of this lard off my ass.

Ah well. SSF4, it was fun while it lasted.

Having not owned the original SFIV, I'm absolutely loving this, and I'm pretty addicted to it. The Tekken 6 wireless stick works great with it, and even with my left hand in a splint, I've already put more hours into this game than any other game I own.

Gamestop currently has this for 29.99 new with a $10 off code for future use. Even better add code 2d15 and you get it for 25.49+tax with free ground shipping.

I jumped on it. I figure for the $17 bucks after the code it is worth it.

Finally picked this up for the 360 the other day. I haven't played a SF game since Ex + Alpha on the PSOne--and even then, I didn't play it that much. My last significant non-Vs Street Fighter game time was probably Alpha 2.

With that said, man am I getting my ass kicked in this. I'm not even talking about playing online. The computer is merely doing it. Not just the computer, but the computer on easy. When Sagat's rival fight against Ryu popped up, it took me like 8 tries to finally put an end to him (oddly enough, I beat Seth on either the first or second try).

Are there any general bits of advice on involving the new gameplay elements? I've tried doing Focus attacks, but I don't really get the purpose of them. Otherwise, I am having some fun with it, I mean it's Street Fighter--you've gotta!
