Here's Capcom's SSFIV FAQ.
Do any of you have any further info on this bit below:

Why Should I hang on to my copy of SFIV?
Besides it being a great game that you should continue to play until SSFIV comes out, Ono-san and S-Kill have said that there will be a nice bonus treat for those who hang on to their copy.

Shit, mine was $39.96 from Amazon, and they already shipped it. Wonder if I can still nag them about their pre-order price guarantee, considering it had a 4/30 release date.

It's their pre-order guaranty, if the price drops lower than your price by midnight of the release date, you get the difference back. Usually they adjust it automatically, but if you call they'll do it right away (and you may get that difference refunded twice). I'm calling this morning.
edit : It took a couple of minutes on the phone. My CS rep in Mumbai took a little while to be convinced that today is the SSF IV release date, not yesterday when it shipped. I waited on hold for 3-4 minutes and it got straightened out. Like I said, it usually kicks in automatically, but it never hurts to call if you have the time.

Fry's had it for $34, suckas!
Will play the shit out of it tonight - I'm more excited for this than the initial release of IV.

I forgot the MSRP for this is only $40...damn. I'll still probably plow through some of my backlog though. Dragon Age has been mocking me lately.

If you're going to add gas to the equation (I was going there anyways to pick up some stuff for work), then it's only fair and logical that I add your amazon Prime membership AND your internet service charge to the equation, after which I end up ahead.

Usa usa usa!!
Anyways, this game is awesome - they pretty much knocked it out of the park - I mean, they sorta had to as this was their 2nd shot.
The only problem (PS3 version) is that fucking "loading trophies" thing every single time you play the game. There has to be a better way to implement trophies than this, isn't there? I mean, plenty of games with trophies don't have to load them each time you pop in the game.
Also, in the options to tweak controls, every fighting game fan knows that the best fighting games made by people who know what they're doing let you change the controls while going down the list of commands and you press the button you want to perform that command, easy peasy. But not here. Here, you have to go down the list of the buttons and cycle through the command you want for each button - pain in the ass.

I'm annoyed that there still doesnt seem to be a way to save controller configs. Sucks for groups of people playing where one or two guys like to change their controls around.
Still, it's pretty much more of the same game that I loved a year ago. I'm happy

Me too. $4 back. I'm not sure if I'll get a separate $3 credit from talking with the CS rep. Either way, it makes the pain of having to rebuy this game and having a worthless copy of SFIV a little easier to take.
