Re: God of War I/II remake for PS3
Finished up GOW2 earlier tonight. All in all I'm glad I picked it up. 2 good games for 40 bucks was a great deal. However, I probably won't be replaying them so I'll probably sell them. Question though about the GOW3 Demo. Is the code a one time use? I already redeemed it and downloaded the demo so I'm wondering if I go to sell it if I need to specify that it does not come with a code for the GOW3 demo or if I can go ahead and include it.

I played God of War in December, Chains of Olympus while on vacation, and now the sequel. I just passed the underground phoenix area in God of War II, but I'm starting to get a bit burned out...

I can see that after all three games.
Really, the setpieces and narrative are the only thing that kept me interested at all. I'm generally not a fan of beat-em-ups...even exceptional ones.

Finally cracked this last night as a change from Dragon Age...and had no issues so far on my launch 60G ps3. Thankfully. I played through about 1/2 of the first one on the PS2, and it's a lot of fun again on this collection.

Alright, I think that phoenix area just frustrated me, because i'm now back on board. Also been playing these on a 60GB, no problems.
EDIT: Finished God of War II last night, loved it. I don't completely understand Kratos's desire to bring down the Gods. Yeah, he's pissed about Zeus, but why everyone? Eh, whatever...

I just got past Atlas in II and have a question. I spent all of my experience on upgrading the standard weapon, which I use all the time (I don't think I've used the hammer or spear at all). For magic, I mainly use the bow.
Going forward, is there one I should concentrate on upgrading?

I'm having a lot of fun going back through this. I'm just about to enter the desert in GoW1, playing on Spartan (Hard). So far I've only upgraded my blades to Level 2 and I have 22 or so bars full of red orbs waiting to be spent. I hate making decisions like that until absolutely necessary!
I see there's a trophy for maxing out everything. I do a pretty thorough job of hunting for chests and trying for bonus orbs through combos. Did anyone get that trophy on their first playthrough and, if so, did you have any trouble collecting enough orbs?

Will someone PLEASE help L&O figure out why he never played these games before? He's desperate for attention on his twitter account.

Yeah, I hate the gaming elements where you have to time a jump or move perfectly to the second or you can't progress. It's just not fun to have to replay the same segment over and over. That game design should have died out with the NES era.
