I'm in. Were you on of the lucky few to get an XNA code? I heard they handed out some, but I wasn't one of them. I ponied up the $99 though, because I had already planned on it when RBN first got announced.

I've downloaded all of the tracks available for peer-review and playtesting (56 songs) and plan on devoting most of the day to playing guitar/bass/vocals on as many as I can.

Re: Rock Band: The Official Thread

I did not get a XNA code, I only paid the 4month one, cause I didnt know what else I would use it for (dont really know what it allows either).... I have only played 4 or 5 songs, some interesting and cool stuff there... I cant figure out if you can play more than one song at a time... Do i have to Magma over one song, and then I can only play that one song at a time, or can i transfer over many songs and then play them in a setlist type thing....

It's a one at a time thing. It's storing the song in RAM, so there's only room for one song at a time.

If you want to see a very interesting song, try "Footloose and Fancy Free". It's got piano charted to guitar the whole time and a saxophone charted to vocals. Pretty unique and fucking awesome.

That was the first song I played... WICKED solo, and fun as hell...

Re: Rock Band: The Official Thread

This thread needs locking, and since Shagrath has pretty much abandoned updating the first page... i feel that locking isn't a big deal anymore. Any objections? Any plans to keep the first post up to date with links? I know I used it when it was there...now, not so much.

Re: Rock Band: The Official Thread

I object!

I just use rbdlc.com to keep up to date with songs.

Re: Rock Band: The Official Thread

So then you don't object since you use rbdlc. That page looks good. Locking this PoS down.
