Played for about a hour and loved it. I'm taking it real slow so I don't rush through the game. It's funny he sounds like Nathan Drake and even looks like him. I really hope to see more top notch games like this on XBL.

Yeah I got that also very cool. Also in addition to the achievement tracking there is leaderboard popups which is awesome. Also no spoilers but there is a point at about 30% of the map where you get scuba gear and the music changes there is only one word I could describe it it's a word I never used before that I can remember for a game. Beautiful, you'll know it when you get there.

Just a tip I went into the menus and changed the setting to Vibrant mode and the colors even look better. I love this game.

I wasn't sure i was going to get it but the demo sold me. I have never successfully completed a single Castlevania game or Metroid so we shall see how this one goes.

XMIYUX play it on Casual and you should be able to finish it. I am at 50% map and about 3 hrs in and have only died twice once I drowned early on to see what the limits were, and then I died on a trap that I just wasn't paying attention. Also the beat the game achievement doesn't matter what difficulty you are on.

Awesome. That is one of my pet peeves about games. I hate it when i am fine with the difficulty of the game and just struggle with the mechanics of actually playing it.
I am looking forward to getting more time with the title this weekend!

Oh my god, holy shit, what the fuck, sonofabitch and a great big GOD DAMN! This game just completely took me by surprise. I saw all the early press, and thought it might be fun but not near what the classics offered. I downloaded the game based on the early reviews and posts in this forum and a little over an hour in I am giddy with excitement. This game is amazing. I know I am only 1/5 in or so, but this game has something for everyone.

Anyone tried the Proving Grounds yet? I tore through them until I got to Challenge Pack 3. The first one is being a bitch. I just can't figure out how you're supposed to do the obvious. They also give you a speed pack and it looks like you might be able to run around, but damned if I know how...
The obvious (and possibly wrong) way to do it seems to require my right hand to do too many things at once. Jump, aim, and shoot the hook.

Fuck. Game locked up on me. I got a leaderboard popup boasting my melee rise to fame so I stopped to check out the rest of the leaderboards. Made the mistake of pressing X to refresh or move screens or something and it's stuck on the screen...10 minutes now
Dammit. Locked up the xbox now. I used to be able to get to the guide button, now I cannot. This will be noted... bastards!

No, it's the game -- I locked up too when I tried to go to the non-friends-list leaderboard while in the game. I also couldn't figure out how to get to any of the leaderboards besides the defaults while in the game. Leaderboards seem to work fine if you access them from the main menu.

Looks like early trial copies have a glitch and allow playthrough of the full game. Im at the Foam Gun right now on the trial copy.

This game is so unbelievably sweet. I'm in total awe. I'm usually not one to even notice vocal talent (save for Patrick Stewart as Xavier or Ian McKellen as Gandolf), but in this game it's a little unnerving to have Nathan Drake making the same sort of smart-ass comments he made in Uncharted. It's a chicken-egg thing : Did they design a character that looked almost identical to Drake and then cast his voice actor or the other way around. I wonder.
Such a great game, it really does make you reassess the other XBLA choices. After buying this, I reluctantly went and purchased TMNT Reshelled since it'll be free after rebate for me. It might not be a bad game, but it doesn't look so hot if you play it immediately after Shadow Complex, that's for sure.

Well, I'm going to be the unpopular opinion here and say I'm not that impressed with the game. It's good but doesn't come close to living up to the hype.
The controls are far from polished, the story is laughable (Orson Scott Card being involved was supposed to be a selling point), and the visuals look like highly polished Metal Gear Solid 1 designs.
It wasn't a bad diversion for the four and a half hours it took me to beat it, but I have zero desire to touch the game again. It's a rental game at best or an 800pt purchase.
As far as the Summer of Arcade goes, Trials HD is still the most impressive title I've played and actually managed to exceed expectations and is worth its 1200pt price tag.

I agree about the controls (see my post above about the Proving Grounds with the right hand in charge of too much).
A lot of it, though, is being used to other games and that'll come with time. I'm still throwing grenades with RB when I mean to be reloading, like I'm playing Gears.
Still, the game is great and I'm having fun with it. I can't wait to go for 100% and minimalist completions.

I don't see getting any enjoyment out of a 19 speed run.
