I just saw this in stores today. I didn't even know it was being made.

I saw this at BB last night and it looked cool. I flipped through the stradegy guide; A dark Call of Duty basically, with eerie colors. Ill be picking it up as soon as it hits

I'm somewhat disappointed by the tepid initial reviews. I LOVED "Return to Castle Wolfenstein." Guess I'll just wait till this hits the bargain bins.

There some amazing scripted events in the game though I will say. Some of the visuals are pretty awesome.

I'm really enjoying it. Got it Friday and am half way done and it's easily one of the best games I've played this year.

Judging from your avatar... until batman, am I right?
Anyways this game will probably be 20 bucks in 2 months I bet. With the low hype it won't last long at 60

The lack of hype for this game is shocking. It reminds me of a movie that doesn't get screened for critcs. 9 out of 10 times it's a stinker.
Is there something else to the story we're not getting?

Just finished it yesterday and I enjoyed it. I thought the graphics were at least on par w/ the current gen, they didn't really blow me away but they didn't stick out as being bad. The story, for as much as I paid attention, seemed to be pretty good. The game play was a lot of fun, a mix of linear and "choose your own adventure" styles. Once done w/ any level you can go back and replay it (w/ all your current weapons) to finish gathering the gold and intel and then jump right back into where you were in the overall story. However, while I enjoyed it I don't see myself buying it anytime soon or at all. I'm not really into online gaming so the multiplayer has little appeal to me and the story wasn't that compelling that I feel the need to run through it again anytime soon.

Re: Wolfenstein?
Truly perceptive! On that note, I was in Target yesterday as I heard BAA had been released early and could be found there. So, I ask the genius sales associate if they have any available and his reply: "Oh, their not releasing that game until next year". Isn't it just easier to say I don't know than to make up a cockamaimee faux release? Just my thoughts. Back on topic: I am enjoying this game so much! I'm almost done(fighting the Geist queen) and will be ready for BAA in a day or so. It's so good, I might even just restart it when I've beaten it!

The demo was much better than I expected. Gameplay was fun and the graphics looked good. I'll pick this up when it hits the $25-$30 range.

Re: Wolfenstein?
enjoying it
although this is the first FPS I've played in a while that has given me mild headaches and slight queasiness after a couple hours

Finished it on normal earlier [under 12 hours]... Just need to go back and find all gold, Intel and Tomes. Will try it on the hardest difficulty at another time and also try not to die more than 3 times. Also need to get the MIRE achievement.
Anyway enjoyed it, solid game... will probably try online, if anyone is actually on.

Re: Wolfenstein?
I thought it was a pretty good game. Nothing special, but decent and above-average. Worth a rental.
I pre-ordered it at EB and it was one of their game guaranteed titles, so I was able to essentially try it for a week without any strings attached. I beat it and didn't feel like playing it again, and didn't like it enough to spend $70 on it so I returned it for a full credit refund.
Raven did a great job on Singularity and X-Men Origins: Wolverine though.
