Strange that Amazon doesn't have the 360 version up for pre-order yet when the PS3 version has been up for a while now.

How exactly does the online league play work? Do we each pick a team and have some sort of schedule to follow against each other?
If so, NJ is my choice.

I'll claim the Blueshirts if that's the case

Well, there are a few different ways you can do online play. From what I've read, you can have a fantasy draft where you draft your entire team from scratch. It could be fun to create a team that way using draft lists... and nobody pouts about not getting their team. That way you wouldn't need to trudge through a lengthy draft and start playing as soon as possible. But I'm unsure if the fantasy draft applies to online leagues. I assume it will. You can also play using real rosters - fight over your teams and whatnot...
...and the final option would be to play together on a hockey club against other teams.
I vote for a fantasy draft and a DVDTalk club team. But I'm a PS3 owner so my opinion doesn't matter one tit.

I don't know all that much about the players and what not, if it's an autodraft I'm fine with that. Would go by a lot quicker as well too.

Just so I'm in on the territory marking... I've got the PS3 Penguins (or at the very least Penguin jerseys). I'll start listing team affiliations in the first post as well. Hopefully the fantasy draft idea pans out online.
Someone will have to take charge of the 360 contingent as I'll need to track down a crapload of PS3 guys to create a league.

I'll take the Kings, and if it's ok, a good friend of mine that is a hockey nut would like to play as whatever team he can get. He is tired of leagues where half the people don't play.

This game is a huge seller in Europe in spite of the seeming lack of roster updating on the Euro leagues from EA.

Someone else can claim the Rangers, I've backed out of the league.
