Got Afterburner based on the recommendations here. It's lots of fun and definitely worth $5. I played through it about 5 or 6 times and got all 200 achievement points within a couple of hours though. Still, not disappointed at all.

I don't have the guidelines in front of me, but how is it worded? Does it say "Pre-order said game for $5 and receive free this add-on now...." I doubt it says something along the lines of Pre-order this game for $5 and receive this bonus free and then to truly get it for "nothing" you can then get a refund of the $5 that you put down as a deposit if you want.

I'm just saying this since as you stated we'll agree to disagree and that's cool. But this is one of these things where like I said it is "convenient" to blame the company for not putting it in their guidelines to take "advantage" of the situation. And I am definitely not trying to lump everyone together. There very well could be those that go into this with every intention to buy the game of course and then change their mind. I'm just saying those that full well KNOW that they are going to pre-order and get the bonus and then get a refund with no intention whatsoever of buying the game ever. This is who I am talking about directly as taking "advantage" of the situation if the wording is the way I believe that it is the company's fault for giving us a pre-order bonus and not making it non-refundable.

I think all the posts here have talked me into getting it as well. Sounds like a fun time killer and I need a break from PQ2. Also picked up Mega Man 10 while it was $5.

I can't imagine not buying Limbo. Castlevania may surprise me. I doubt I'd be able to get any of the others for 800 net, though.

edit: I most likely will get Hydro Thunder and that is it. I have a ton of fond memories of going to the arcade with my wife and racing. She also loves the game.

Damn it! Why does Tomb Raider have to be last!? Grrr... I must have played the demo 4-5 times at E3, absolutely a buy. I can see his Limbo recommendation it was cool, but on the other hand I watched people play Monday Night Combat and it's not something I would buy. I might do the buy 3/400 point rebate by also getting Castlevania.

Ouch. Kinda pricey. Really it doesn't make sense to buy 4 for $55 instead of 5 for $60 unless you really hate one of those titles. Thinking this year I might just wait until the New Year sale to buy these ones. Nothing here feels like a must-have title to me the way Castle Crashers, Shadow Complex or Splosion Man did in past SotA promotions did.

I double-checked before answering, but yes, if it takes the code, the code is still valid. If you enter in a previously redeemed code, it says "Please enter a valid code." So if it tells you what it is, the code's still good.

I still have yet to play the first. I bought it but haven't played more than 10 minutes.

I also never played it back in the day so it seems pretty challenging now.

Kinda reminds me of COD4 mixed in with some Rainbow Six but not in a good way.
