Sweet! Winterbottom for me. And anyone who doesn't have Poker Smash should pick that one up -- it's awesome.

I'll likely get both new XBLA titles as well. Expensive week for me.

Poker Smash will probably be mine. My wife and I both played the demo to death and just never pulled the trigger so to speak. I think I'll probably download the demo to Defense Grid, I've heard good things about it.

Defense Grid is fantastic. They just released a series of add-ons (4 or 5 total, I think) for $1 each. I think there are 2 maps per download. I haven't got those yet, but I will soon.

Yeah. I bought 'em all. Four packs, two maps each, five new achievements total (first three packs have one, last pack has two).

I bought Defense Grid when it was 400 points a couple months ago and it's been one of my best XBLA purchases so far--and I'm not even that into tower defense games.

I have Defense Grid on Steam. Doubt I need to rebuy it. There's no difference between the two versions is there?

I'm trying not to get too excited yet about next week's titles, but man, Ninja Bee's lastest game Ancients of the Ooga looks mega-awesome. How did this not make the Summer of the Arcade cut?

Sonic 1 and the only other one worth considering for me is Sonic 2. Not a fan of the other Genesis Sonic games.

Next week will be tough. I want Poker Smash and Puzzle Quest 2 so I guess Ninja Bee's new game has to wait for a sale.

In response to wlj, I would say Sonic 2. Sonic 1 is nice also, but the other ones just didn't do it for me. I still think you are better off going the route of Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, but that's a purely personal thing :).

Puzzle Quest 2 is next week?!? Sweeet. :D

?...if we are talking about the new Manhattan Project game, I thought it was pretty good. Have you played the old Duke Nukem games off the PC before he went 3d FPS? It's certainly in that vain with naturally much better graphics. It's not ohhhhsssss mah god amazing, but I certainly thought it was fun. :shrug:

Yup. I played them all back then. And, like you, I'd really like a Commander Keen resurgence.

It was an ok platformer, but if it wasn't for the Duke skin it wouldn't be anything worth a second look. And the same old 90's quips. Maybe if I didn't just finish off DN3D and be so terribly annoyed by it I could be more open to it. I thought it was sub-par.
