Re: Bribing my fellow 360 playing DVDTalkers...
Well...we didn't get 15, but damn close, and as of this posting the podcast is actually listed on the featured pages of the video game podcasts on iTunes, so it definitely made an impact! So as thanks for you guys doing me a solid, I'll throw in the MSP card regardless.
Anyone that has left a review on iTunes will be eligible for the $20 in points. I'll go through midnight Sunday (6/7) before I take the names in case anyone else wants to get thrown into the pot. (But keep in mind it can take a day or two for the review to show up so do it ASAP if you want included.)
I can't thank you guys enough for taking the time to help out our little show. Sincerely.

I put in this review, I hope it actually goes through:
I gave you guys 5 stars, though.
Prior to this podcast, I knew nothing about video games. I thought they were for dweebs and nerds. A friend of mine (an old frat buddy, that bastard) put this podcast on my iPod nano (how cool are those little things? So cool!) and I found mysef entranced! I had no idea the world of video games could be so fascinating. And you know what? Some of the games sounded pretty great. So I went and bought a PS3. But then I realized there were no good games for it. So then I bought a Wii, but all the games were cheap gimmicks. So I tracked down these guys who recorded this podcast and beat them mercilessly. Now I'm in the middle of a two year jail stint for assault. So, thanks guys, you really changed my life!

Thanks to everybody that left a reveiw for the show. In the end we had 15 total entries after all. All the names got put into a hat and the Mrs. did the honors of randomly choosing our winner. (So blame/thank her.) Congrats to Spicollidriver1! (A PM has been sent with your code!)
Thanks again for your guys' support and help!

Thank you for the code you deserve the positive reviews. Now I can splurge on a game I might not have shelled out for today.

I have been listening to the show since the second or third one on iTunes. It is a pretty good podcast and is in my work rotation. This and 1Up Yours are my two gaming podcasts.

The support and feedback is appreciated! (And I did have you included in the drawing xmiyux, as you had left a review quite awhile ago, but I made sure to include all from DVDTalk that have helped out.)

Oh no problem, i was just wanting to give another shout out. I frequently recommend your podcast as well as the 1Up Yours podcast whenever folks are talking about video game casts. Also, 8-Bit Brigade (the game clan where several of us on DVDTalk are members) also started out a new podcast and has a couple episodes. Might be worth checking out sometime as well.

Just listened to this and that part made me laugh pretty hard. That was a long podcast for sure but didn't feel long so it was ok.

Yeah that's my one "constructive criticism". I personally prefer podcast episodes in the 30-45 minute range. However, it appears this is published every two weeks, so it's not overwhelming keeping up, and I'll admit it is a very fast 1-2 hour episode.

Thanks guys! Appreciate the feedback. Length is something we started off being concerned about, but over time we've decided to let the conversation flow naturally. We try to stay on point at least. Glad to hear it flows quickly.

You're welcome.
Remember...we only have like 4 listeners....you've probably done far more damage talking about it here.
(Although if losers start hitting this week, I have a feeling I'm gonna get the blame regardless.)

Re: Bribing my fellow 360 playing DVDTalkers...
Am I too late to enter the contest?

I entered a review tonight because 1) I just finished listening to your show and enjoyed it and 2) I thought somebody should make it look like somebody entered a review of his own volition and not just to win some random contest at the end of may or beginning of June.
It was a VERY long discussion, but I listened to the whole thing -- it took the entire week since I only have a short commute. Great work Superfro.
I would like to get you guys a present before your next show : I'd like to buy you all a second positive descriptive adjective. If you made a drinking game where you took a shot every time someone used the word "Awesome", you'd be in the hospital with alcohol poisoning before the end of the episode. Of course, you can't play drinking games while driving (except in Louisiana), so instead I devised a game where I held my breath until somebody said "awesome". That was a lot of fun and I only passed out once on the way home.
