Bribing my fellow 360 playing DVDTalkers...
 

A few friends and I do our own independent Xbox 360 podcast, and I'm trying hard to get us featured on iTunes. Unfortunately I don't see that happening without a decent number of reviews/ratings. Which can be a battle with no funding/advertising. So my plea is thus....if you have an active iTunes account, I would LOVE for you to drop our show a super quick review! (Unless of course you've heard it and hate it, which in that case I'd still love to get your feedback. :lol: ) Below I've included a direct link to the podcast on iTunes to make it even easier.

If we're somehow able to get up to 15 folks here to leave a review I'd be willing to throw in a $20 Microsoft points card in a random drawing for the folks who have left a review. Just drop a response here to let me know you've submitted a review (including if you've done so previous) and you'll be included!

Left a review. I've never listened to a podcast before, so I have no idea what I'm doing there. I can't get anything to play, and I don't know if I have to get it on to my ipod first or what?

Double clicking on any of the episodes should open them up right in the iTunes store for you to listen to, or you can click on "Get Episode" over on the far right and download the show directly. (Which I think should put them in your iTunes library under "Podcasts".) By and large most podcasts, this one included, are free.

"These guys really know their game. This is the first podcast I check before I want to try a new game. If it wasn't for these guys I'd never tried Avatar, one of the best games ever released for the Xbox 360".

Wow, check this out...I have never listened to a podcast before, so in my itunes menu, I disabled podcasts (and other things I don't use) from my options menu. I couldn't listen to, or subscribe to any pods until I added pods to my menu options. That's what the problem was. I like the show, great stuff...and I'm not a podcast virgin anymore :D

I have listened to it before but listened to the recent one and dropped a review for you. I enjoy your podcast and gives me something to listen to when I am playing a game with terrible audio (nfl tour this time around).

Well started to drop a review and I keep getting "System Maintenance try back later" I'll try again in a little while. By the way I do like your podcasts although sometimes they get dominated by the two of you.

Well the 3rd guy wasn't officially part of the show on a regular basis till EP13, and a few before that here and there, so he may not have even been on some of them. :) But the other factor is that I definitely play the most on the show, so I tend to talk a lot. :( We are definitely trying to balance it a bit better though. This next episode should have us all talking quite a bit. Thanks a ton for checking it out and the feedback!

I actually listened to 3 of them while working today and was gonna leave a review but Apple keeps asking for my damn password over and over even though I am inputting it correctly.
