really? did you use your PS2 or Xbox? My first DVD was a drive in my then new (1999) Vaio laptop. Then I got a PS2, and later I got a multiregion DVD player.

Yes, the per gb ratio for 40gb-100gb 2.5" hdds... Those drives are "expensive" comparing to the 320 and 500gb ones. I guess people rather want a 40-100gb at $30-$50 range than 320-500gb at $60-$110 range.

Newegg and Tigerdirect got some cool deals from time to time. So yes, i'm basically waiting for a sale.
