Amazon shipped my CE guide last night. The CE of the actual game is shipping soon, although they already charged my card.
I am guessing it was already shipped, and by the time I get the "your item has shipped" email, it'll be almost here.

No, they actually digitized him (a la Mike Teevee) and embedded a fraction of his bits onto each disc. You can only unlock him with a unique code with new copies, though.

The commercials for this game really make me want to get into this series now. I was talking to a guy at work about it, and he just starts rattling off some of the things that happen in the first game. No big shakes, but reaffirmed his asshole when it comes to spoiling things (he's alright otherwise) status. I'm going to have a Bioware year though, as I'm playing KOTOR first. Between that, Mass Effect, and eventually Mass Effect 2 (if I like the first) I have enough gaming to last me a year.

From P-A, regarding carrying over your old game save, or not:

It's a little more broad than you'd think, because there are many reasons why you might not have access to a file from two fucking years ago. I was shocked to hear his reply: that they had fully accounted for this. When creating a new character, you can go down a list of key decisions and set them manually.
I exhaled, then, a stale and depleted breath which I had apparently been holding for more than a year.

It'd be really cool that if when you import in your character it actually lists out those actions, so you can see/modify them. I simply don't remember what the hell I did in the first one, aside from a few of the big events (or maybe just a single one).

It shows you those choices when you're selecting which ME1 save to import. There's other decisions that supposedly affect ME2 that aren't listed at that point though. Here's the video link.

I'm not sure if you're even reading the responses or if you even remember what you said originally, but the point of contention is your comment that the first game had XBox level graphics. Not whether the graphics were just good or blew you away, as we already acknowledged that they weren't "mind blowing."
I'll acknowledge that using XBOX to compare graphics was a poor choice. Not "Poor" because it was wrong, but "poor" because it set you guys off. I apologize for setting you guys off.
I swear to you that there were some areas where the graphics looked like an XBOX game.

Yeah I doubt they'll be able to deactivate or remove them from your hard drive after you've already downloaded them. Be happy you got them.

Ok, I know I'm going in late playing the first one but based on what may have said tha's the way to go. I did go ahead a reserve ME-2 though I probably won't ge to it for awhile.
Any tips or character recommendations to get started? I ususally like to explore all aspects of a game but I don't feel like waiting two or thre weeks before I pop ME-2 in. Thanks
Ok, I found a walkthrough but a few questions about the "PARAGON" AND ''RENEGADE'' paths. This walkthru is geared for the 'Asari Ally Achievement'
Should you stay on one side (Good) all the way thru or does mixing it up (good and bad) work out?
