No worries...because of where the flags are located, I never even realized that was part of the map. If there were a bunch of players, it would be an interesting place to hang out, but with 3 on 3, it's usually more of a war of attrition.

Still...no worries.

 Yeah, that was never in doubt.

I just wonder if we can get to 100 pages before somebody notices.

All,

I spoke w/ my RL friend "sporting" today. He had a good time but was pretty confused being mostly a CoD guy.

He doesn't follow the thread, so if he drops in on Tuesday, try to take it easy on him if you see him in your sights...maybe let him have an easy kill or two. My guess is that he'll be up to speed in no time, but to date, I've never seen him play anything that didn't have "Call of Duty" in the title, so I don't want to scare him off.

No problem, I got him a few times in a row last week, before i realized he was newer than me and backed off...

Roger that!

Chew 10-05-09 11:43 AM

If the Packers lose tonight, I'll be in a "kill everything that moves" mood for Warhawk.:lol:

I'm pretty sure that the only thing less frightening than this threat from Chew is me saying "I'm going to drop my balls on you."

rotfl

Chew's pretty scary when he gets his knife on, but you ABSOLUTELY can't hit anything with your balls!

Z, let the wookie win.

Sorry Chew. Were you rooting for the Fahv-ray a little bit? After watching him get 7 seconds to throw the ball, I had to turn it off.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I have mixed feelings. I hated the Packers in their heyday...mostly because I was living in the area and thought Packer fans were a bit...well...obnoxious. Next to the 49er wins, my favorite Super Bowl was the one the Pack lost to the Broncos.

But I've grown to respect the Fahv-ray a little bit.

Anyway, if you need a cheap kill or two...maybe a trophy, let me know.

<--- trying to get on Chew's good side before the wrath.

No worries R2. Just don't make it a habit. I, for one, enjoy having you in the game!

I think I might make it a point to try to improve my Warhawking skills tonight. I always do a little flying, but tonight I might just have to force myself to stay in the air through the frustration with the hope that maybe someday I'll actually scare someone with my balls.

Oh, I'm sure you've scared someone.

Every week, I tell myself that I'm going to stay on the ground more, but I end up chasing down a flag, and suddenly I'm in the Warhawk for most of the round. :(

Funny thing is, tearing across the landscape in a jeep is just about my favorite thing to do in the game, particularly if somebody is manning the 50 cal. I just never chase flags anymore. :(

Chew 10-06-09 01:47 PM

ivelostr2 isn't on and no post from Steve. Maybe I won't be sniper-bait for once. :fc:

That is not an invitation for anybody else to get smart. :p
