Hey ween and chess, I see we're all "locals" being Texans! And on Ravenous' note, that's where good teamwork comes into play. I used to drive jeeps or tanks (depending on the map) around during CTF to pick up the players with flags and shuttle them back to base. It's not always about grabbing the glory for yourself per se, although it is fun of course!
There is quite a few of us! 4 on one clan focused on DVDs. Daaamn! It was cool playing with you too ween. I saw the name and thought, "is that the name I read chess mentioning using a tank alot?" I HATE that map too. You cant park a vehicle near by, only a hawk and than you have to run to get out and find something. I took that flag alot but couldnt get a damn ride. We should coordinate next time. |

lemme check with eroc. I'm pretty sure he has them.
If so, Ofermod is the only "regular" who doesn't have them or won't get them...at least right now. Tentatively, I'll plan to load the first 7-8 maps this week as original maps and make the last 2-3 expansions. I'd love to get some practice in the jetpacks! |

All good, if Im the only one without them, play on! Since the game is MUCH more fun for me now with the adjusted screen, I may have to break for those expansion packs before a sale... but Im such a tight ass with cash. If its been on sale, it will again :D
I played a bit ago, for the first time EVER I got best in match or whatever; when Im the top player out of the 32!! Sweet! It only took me 45 games :lol: That was awesome. But I had some LOSER in a tank following me everywhere and shooting me... and we were on the same team! Ive never had that before. Scumbag. I got so pissed. I than backed up and got him stuck in a corner, took off when an enemy tank turned the corner so the bad guy blew him up. That was best of all. |
