On CTF I usually entertain myself by running/flying around and capturing the spawns in order to keep the other team from having an easy time capturing/recapturing the flag. I do this because I am usually not much help on defense and when I see an opportunity I will make a run with the flag. I also like pestering the opposing teams flag runner.

BTW - sorry for not making it online last night - I passed out while feeding/burping the baby boy. Recliner was just too damn comfortable.

Good times last night. On Archipelago Chew was hanging out in the center base with a tank nearby (I'm assuming he drove it in there). I boosted my warhawk into it and flipped it over three or four times and it must have crushed him, because the kill notice said I ran him over, but I couldn't have.

I also had fun playing around with the TOWs. :)

Oh, and Chew. When you killed me with that health mine and kept saying "Slider, Slider, you were my first." I sent you a message that said in the subject line "Was it" and then "Good for you, too?" in the message box, but I don't think you saw that part. :lol:

I was playing on the public servers tonight and it was one of the default lobbies that are always online. CTF on Badlands with 25+ players. There were these three guys from a clan on the opposing team who were camping our base so this guy on out team is getting really angry about it. After failing to kill them a few times he goes quiet (I thought he left). Suddenly he tells everybody on our team to commit suicide and spawn in his APC. I did it and he told me to get out, in about a minute we had 10 or so people standing outside his APC and we were in the other team's base by the tanks. We had three tanks, two APCs, and a jeep or two and someone was manning a turret in their base and we proceeded to spawn kill them over and over. Whenever one of us died we would just spawn back in one of the APCs and go back to spawn killing them. It was amazing.


You guys call me a douchebag, well, I have nothing on this guy. Complete genius.

I don't want to mix with the natives in any of the 360 threads, so I'll ask here... in the sanctuary of the Warhawk.

I'm about to acquire a barely used 360 from my sister-in-law because she doesn't use it anymore. I don't pay any attention to price trends on that "other" console but I need to populate it with a few cheap 360 necessities. I can get Left 4 Dead and Mass Effect from the Amazon Buy 1 Get One 1/2 Off for $27.xx total. Yay or nay on the price point of $14 each?

Mass Effect 2 is. And I believe the opening movie ( which we will guide how it turns out )will serve as a Mass Effect lead in and game save

I can't say much about L4D, but Mass Effect 1 and especially 2 are two of my favorite games on the system.

Sorta surprised that MS1 is more than 2 at Amazon though. I know I've seen the first one in some $10 sales.

As to "Traitor": I've paid for Gold every year I've had the system and have yet to play online with it. :lol: I'll be letting that lapse once it runs out in a few months.

We'll see. If absolutely necessary, I have a bunch of KMart points (points - not coupons - from the Black Ops deal) that I can use to pay for any Gold requirements.

I am putting as little financial investment in this as possible.

I pretty much concocted this deal so I can play ME1 and ME2. I'll have paid less than I would have for ME2 on the PS3. :up:
