I picked up the dual guitar bundle for the same price tonight. It was still $62-something yesterday. They didn't mark down anything else today, just the Guitar Hero bundles.

Re: Target VG Clearance HUGE !!! YMMV

Most of these stores should be slashing prices on Guitar Hero WT since GH5 is just around the corner.

I saw that Wal-Mart marked down the Guitar Hero Guitar dual guitar bundles to about $60 as well (not a clearence price).

Re: Target VG Clearance HUGE !!! YMMV

Targets here slashed the PS3 GH:WT about two months ago. Got down to under $10 last time I checked.

I was waiting for that at my local Target, they had more than 20 boxes, and they are all gone now!

The last discount I saw was for 50%. I was waiting for 75% ($22.48)

I was at a Target today, and not on the normal clearance area but in the cheapy game racks, they had Peggle DS for $4.96. There were no clearance stickers on it but it had a new white slipcase that I haven't seen on any copies before.

Great price for a great game. I paid 20 bucks for mine and never regretted it.

Still $29.98 at my local Target.

For Vegas folks : the Centennial store had many, many copies of Dead Space for the PS3 for $7.48. Wish I hadn't got it from Game Crazy for $20 now.

And I noticed that Shawn White Snowboarding target Edition is on sale for $19.99 after all these months. I've held off from cheap versions on Amazon for that exclusive Target content.

You got ripped. You should've picked up Dead Space instead.

Complete Guitar Hero noob here. Bought two at target, one with dual controllers one with a single controller and they are different. Is one type better than the other?

Yes, both world tour, but the dual guitar box says Les Paul and the single says something about a neck slider.

Re: Target VG Clearance HUGE !!! YMMV

The World Tour one (neck slider) is a little bigger and generally considered "better". They function exactly the same. The neck slider is used in WT in special "solo" sections where the notes are connected by a purple line. You can slide around (or just tap the fret buttons without strumming). It's little more than a gimmick and you probably won't ever use it.

Just try them both and decide which is a little more comfortable for you.

Re: Target VG Clearance HUGE !!! YMMV

The strum bar is more 'spongy' on the WT guitar also and less 'clicky.'

I prefer the single guitar version because it is bigger, but both styles are great guitars and compatible with any RB/GH game.

Re: Target VG Clearance HUGE !!! YMMV

Finally found the GHWT dual guitar for 360 today for 45$. One Target had about 12 of the PS3 version, and I've seen some Wii versions, but no 360s till today. I think my RB guitar is about to die, and I really am tired of dealing with the wires. Especially when my boy and his friends are playing - four kids and a dog and four wires across the room = recipe for disaster.
Hopefully I can recoup at least a few bucks for my 2 wired RB1 guitars.
Of course they had the RB band for 89, although GHWT full band was still full price.
I didn't see anything else that jumped out.

Re: Target VG Clearance HUGE !!! YMMV

Is $45 for the GHWT dual guitar (Xbox) a good price? The target by me had 3 copies left but I didn't pick one up. Also, the guitar pics on the box looked all black. I thought the GHWT guitars had the wood, flame finish?
